In less than 24 hours of the movie being out, there was a copy distributed among websites which are associated with piracy. Without a doubt, it's been downloaded thousands of times by people around the internet.

How much can/will be lost as a result of piracy? Will Paramount start cracking down on it?

 

Not a lot I don't think since not everyone knows how to pirate

 

China is like piracy central so I'm sure it will happen, but they'll still make money.

I guess if it gets really bad they can send Optimus after the pirates. "Stop downloading! I'll kill you!"

 

dark of the moon was pirated quite a bit and look how much money that made.

 

Not because of me the one I'm seeing is a terrible version with peoples heads in the way and everything, but even if I had it in dvd quality I plan on seeing this in 3D Imax at least 5 times. I just can't recreate that experience no matter what with a download
