Will LED lights yellow white plastic?

    I was gifted a Detolf at work (it used to have some hokey awards and old products in it in our conference room) and set up a little display next to my desk.

    i put UW Superion and CW Defensor on the top level, and was looking at it the other day and got to wondering if i shouldn't leave the light on ~ anyone seen/read/heard/experienced anything that might give you any insight? I'm not sure of the science of what yellows white plastic...

    UV light damages plastic (and paint, and other materials.) I found a site that did their own, independent tests if how much UV white LED fixtures put out, and they do not reccomend them for lighting artifacts or for long-term display of fragile objects:
