will jetfire be brought back as silverbolt?

    considering the sacrifice jetifdre made in helping optimsu defeat the fallen

    i would not be the slightest bit surprised if transformers 3 or idw were to do a comic sotryline exploreing how jetifre would be brought back as a living character

    The back from the dead thing has already been over used between Prime and Megatron. Back from the dead is almost always jumping the shark except in zombie movies and Friday the 13th movies.

    Plus Ratchet is a terrible doctor who makes Doctor Zoidberg seem like a better choice for a doctor. Unless some Decepticon doctor was to bring back Jetfire then there isn't a chance.

    No but it is possible that Jetfire might become Optimus's trailer unit power ups, just like Ginrai and God Bomber (AKA: G1 Powermaster Optimus Prime with Apex Armor), and Godbomber powerup allows Ginrai to fly if combined.

    ROTF is sometimes close to "TF: Gattai Dai Sakusen", various forms of GATTAIs appear
    1. Optimus Prime + (sacrificed) Jetfire = Prime's super mode
    2. 6 (in some class, seven) Constructicons combined into Kibble-free Devastator
    3. Skids and Mudflap forms part of Ice Cream truck.

    If here were to be brought ack from the dead why would he be called Silverbolt? It's the same for when people were insisting Megatron should be called Galvatron in TF2. It kind of made sense in the G1 movie because he was to all intents and purposes an entirely new character with an entirely new body, but thinking about it, if you were raised from the dead, is going to the deed poll office the first thing that you'd do .....?

    I would love for Jetfire to come back, but not as Silverbolt. Either way, it ain't happening.

    I'd love Jetfire to be back - so much potential, but at least he's not as bad as Jolt - Jetfire had plenty of screentime, got to kick ass, and got a fantastic voice-over. Jetfire had a good role in ROTF, so while I want him to come back, the old 'bot had a great run.

    Guys, seriously. If anything, the only characters that would ever be reserected in the movies are Prime and Megs. Why does everyone want Jazz and Jetfire back? There are way more Autobots coming to the play.
