So, you're asking if a Transformers cartoon by Genndy Tarkovsky would work?
Welcome to the boards, by the way.
I'd pay to see that.
I’d pay to never see anything like that. It’s not my preferred style of animation.
Amen to that!
Besides, we've already had TF Animated in that same vein.
I would be so down for that.
Yes, PLEASE. That man does amazing work.
God, I would pay good money to see that. Between stuff like Samurai Jack, Clone Wars and the short-lived Sym-Bionic Titan he'd be a perfect fit.
I don't know. On one hand, it could lead to some of this brands best combative seens. On the other, we would lose some pretty vital pieces of the brand, namely character interaction through speech. Genndy's work is a masterful way in which people can understand the meaning of a scene, but speech can usually elivate it.
I would pay to see it, I miss thick-line animation. I'm sick of the gumpy Cal-Arts style so common now.
Not necessarily in his artwork, but the man has great humorous/dramatic skill as a writer. Dexter's Lab, Justice Friends, Sym-Bionic Titan, and of course Samurai Jack are all proof of that.
I mean, Dexter's Lab shows he can do dialogue amazingly well too.
You're not wrong.
