I really want someone to make a kick ass Blitzwing. Why hasn't it been done? It seems like a natural high demand figure. I think Fansproject would do a great job making one. He would fit into the Warbot line great. However they have only Autobots in the Warbot line, but they could branch out. It would be great if Fansproject made a new Octane and Astrotrain too. :)

iGear should really purchase one of these and did what they did to Wheeljack and mass produce.

I would be so down for a Fansproject version of him seeing as they have done two out of the three Autobot triple changers. As well would slap my $$$ in the face of MMC if they made one for the HOS line.

I'm hoping that Hasbro will still make Blitzwing for 2013 to go along with the Deluxe Classics Astrotrain....

But I will buy an FP version if they make one!

Now that FP has subtly teased a Sandstorm to go with Springer and Broadside, I get the feeling they're probably going to keep going and do all the Decepticons too. They seem pretty into doing triple changers.

That's pretty cool, but I think it would be better to go for a cybertronian mode. Both the tank and jet have to sacrifice to have both modes, and that can be hidden much better when you aren't also trying to make it look like modern vehicles.

I'm all for FP making triple changers one of their "things" and they tackle Blitzwing. If not them, considering how Sixshot/Hexatron looks in pics, it could be cool if they tried triple changers too.

Though I'm content with the Hasbro Astrotrain and Octane that have been released, I'd be open to third party/unlicensed takes a la Hegemon.

The man who made that puts them out almost bi-weekly on eBay. He goes by Kingoctox and it's his bread and butter out of all his customs. Saw one go for $600 around here.

blitzwing definitely needs some love though i'd prefer him to be a bulky deluxe to go with astrotrain & octan-kor. but, it'd be cool to see him as mp.

Sandstorm needs more love in my opinion. Have we even gotten a triplechanger version of him since G1?

lmao! What's with you folks wanting these little tiny ass Deluxe figures! I don't mind some, but lord have mercy! It's always that damn small means cheaper explanation. I don't care about price because sometimes it's just one of those things where as, it's tuff luck if you don't have a buck!

So a custom Blitzwing is going for 800-600. Well if ToyWorld pops out one at 140 or Igears for 130, it will be minds...because that's cheap obviously.

I don't understand why people refuse bitch to Customizers on Ebay about their pricing, but will towards Igear, TFC, and Toyworld; when in fact they are Customizers too, only just massively producing.

Its like acceptable for anyone else in a garage to over price for repaints, but if a 3rd party gives a completely new design and mold but charges 100 for the product, then people scream unfair or foul!

Make them classics style and were good. I think the "exposed kibble" look lends itself to the original g1 versions and the kibble bits on those. Im not into MP anymore so I would prefer a leader class at largest. It can be done. Heck there are plenty really good ones on this site that are fanmades. Little to no partsforming involved. If I can do it with a hobby knife and some imagination I know for a fact Fansproject or another 3P company can do it. No more "Cybertronian" forms please. I see what they did with Bruti and it makes baby tigers cry. Lately "Cybertronian" modes seem to mean lazy design team. Part of the allure is the challenge of making all three modes look like what they are while maintaining a level of playability. Some lazy designed "Cybertronian" mold wont be as well thought out as a real world triple changer. I bet theyd still charge 100 bucks for it either way. In my opinion the harder it is for them to make the better it is for us as collectors to get our hands on it. Thats just my opinion.

I'd love a blitzwing. And a lot of other people would too.

However this is one triple changer that will be extremely difficult to get right.

Even the custom shown above still has plane parts sticking out of the tank and vice versa. And while both look great. You can't really avoid seeing the other problems areas. Any artist that takes this challenge on for mass production better be top notch and understand that there will still be bitching beyond belief that they didn't get it right.

Most of us will just be happy to have a blitz but the art of making it perfect with no overhangs/kibble is almost an impossible task.

    3rd Party.... PROVE ME WRONG.

That being said would you rather they prioritize the tank or the airplane first?

Me I want a solid TANK first. like blitz's old school round top or a Leopard or Abrams with no plane showing and then sacrifice the plane a bit to get it right.

id like it to stay as close to G1 toy as possible. if they could make it work then, it can be done now. either way its not going to be perfect in either mode, the less kibble the better.

Never seen that before....looks fantastic. Very little tank kibble in jet mode. Looks like it's based from one of the coneheads from the placement of the wings.

EDIT - is the tank turret removed for jet mode? I think it is......that's the hard part a 3P will need to find a way around.
