I saw Age Of Extinction last weekend and something was off,there were only 4 Dinobots,So,What happened to Slash

 

He just got cut from the film. Reasons unknown... at least until the special features of AOE Blu-Ray.

 

The Dinobots were in the movie? Where? Must have missed them.

So he got SLASHED?

 

I think it was decided that Slash would've been too much at the time. I honestly hope that a pack of Slash (that just sounds wrong), plus Slog/Sludge and Snarl appear in TF5 alongside Magnus and Prowl. Outside of that I could care less who appears.

 

I thought he was going to be in the movie

 

I'm under the impression that Slash wasn't meant to be a character. He was meant to be part of a horde.

 

Perhaps its because it might be hard to explain how a massive Dinobot (they were all massive in robot mode) could transform into a human sized Raptor, plus it might look a little off when you put him next to the others in the group. I would of thought that Snarl might of at least been in it.

Personally, I am not impressed by Slash or his toy-figure which looks horrible with such a bad choice in colours.

 

Yeah the early concept art showed that slash wasnt going to be one character, he was going to be multiple velociraptor dinobots much smaller than the other dinobots. I can see why they cut them out, grimlock did most of the fighting, scorn crushed a few vehicons and slug bit a flyer

 

Imagine what would happen if kids started googling Transformers Slash..... we wouldn't want that happening

 

Actually, the Dinobots are actually in scale with each other in reference to the sizes of the actual dinosaurs. If Slash scaled correctly, his beast mode would probably be comparable to Bumblebee.

 

He would have been yet another T-Rexy type dino. They already had Grimlock & Scorn that were similar in looks (yes Scorn had a boney fin)

I would have had Snarl in there. Would have been another 4-leg walker but a Stegosaurus is a well known dino.



Also, you can't have Slash without the tophat.

 

Maybe he knew that the Autobots were going to ride them, watched the trailers, saw who was riding his comrades, and ran so he didn't get stuck with Hound.

 

Didn't we have enough useless dinosaurs in this movie?

 

Hey, buddy, you wanna watch a Slash flick, it's no concern of ours, but this is a family film.

 

I'm thinking it was the size unless they were going to scale him up.

 

DUDE, they totally guarded that bridge, which was VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE… … well you just got to trust me, that bridge was key to defeating Lockdown or the Decepticons or someone.
