I made your post more accurate.
Thanks for being level-headed and not turning it into a argument. I actually appreciate that.
You're welcome i thought your edit was really funny
Some people who still defend him this is the perfect description for his tf movies and all his movies. He just can’t tell a story
To me audience score matters more then tomatoes
It's still not a great score.
True but I'd never heard of that movie until now i was saying in general
Yeah, and I'll like movies with low audience scores too. I'm not going to follow the crowd just for the sake of following the crowd. I like what I like.
I actually really enjoyed it and that was before I knew who Michael Bay was. They reused some shots from this movie in DotM but with Transformers added.
A critic’s thoughts on a movie are just as relevant as anyone else’s. A Rotten Tomatoes score, on the other hand, means nothing.
True, I'll give The Island this, at least it was meant to be about the humans.
This was a Bay film? Huh, go figure .... I came for the Scarlett Jo-jo
That didn't really make sense since Rotten Tomato scores are the overall critic's and audiences' thoughts on the film (with the critic score and the audience score respectively).
Sort of. The score just indicates the chances are that you’ll like it, not the grade that critics are giving.
It's just a simplified way of counting scores, though it's still an overall consensus and a good metric to determine if a film is worth giving a shot. If a film is at 20%, it's very likely it's bad as 80% of users think the film doesn't deserve a score higher than 2/5.
Imagine if they had used an attractive actress...
They did It's part of the reason the movie did as decently as it is. Bay had little to do with it
Bayhaters don't need to worry about him directing anymore Transformers movies.
TRANSFORMERS Director Michael Bay Signs Multiyear Film And TV Deal With Sony Pictures
Now they just need to get rid of Lorenzo and things will really be looking up.
I thought they got rid of him.
