They sure were talkative promoting the game and talking about how they examined online for hours. Now you can't even get a peep out of them. We so many issues it''d be nice to know if they plan on fixing anything.
Hmmm...you are totally right about the way they were promoting this. They alway seemed really gung-ho the game prior and just after it's release. And it just seems very strange for them to suddenly stifle themselves. Makes me wonder if Activision has a hand in this scenario......
No. It's because High Moon can't solve the server problems by themselves, they need Activision to step in and do it, and my guess is Activision isn't budging. So why don't they just say that? Because if they did, Activision might not continue to hire them to develop games. Rock and a hard place scenario for HM. I'm sure they want to do something.
This is what these companies do they dont say shit when somthing goes wrong and wont say it until a patch comes around. friggen slant six did this for socom.... and other compaines have done it as well. as long as they have money they dont care. i cant even get a email through to em so ya hope people ask em good questions atcomic con!!
this might be partly why but lets also think about how a game's company works. At the start of a project after the pre-production is done they hire on mass lots of free lancers to get the job done right then once a game has gone gold (finished and ready for print) they let loose the free lancers and start on the next project. Sadly this means that unless theirs money to be earned company's tend not to support their projects mostly just down to cost and the lack of man power. (valve seem to be something special but then TF2 is monstrously popular) I'd say HM would love to keep this train going but sadly might now have the power to really do anything about it.
