Maybe he finds that he can lengthen his life by grinding Dreadwinds and inhaling the fumes, or he derives some sort of sexual pleasure that only Dreadwind can provide.

    Ebay:

If it weren't for this dude, Dreadwind wouldn't be expensive here either. He has single handidly driven up the price here in the US.

    Ebay:
I've seen people do the same thing for Overlord's, espcially on foriegn eBays (where he's more common). The same guy will be buying all of them on like ebay.de, then reselling them on the US ebay and make a hefty profit.

And this guy is totally a prick. I really really really hope they reissue him. Partly because I'd love to have those 2, and partly because it'd make him the biggest dumbass ever.

Amusing little tangent- I outbid this guy for a MISB Tigertracks a couple days ago. :D  Didn't even have to go very high to do it either, lower than the normal price.

Today i searched up Dreadwind on ebay.

It said there were none found, and it gave me the related searches

"Related Searches : olds trumpet, martin trumpet, darkwing, dreadwing"

The amount of times this guy searches for dreadwind must be obsessive if he can singlehandly alter ebay's search results.

Hahahahahaha! I'm at work wasting time and I just read through this entire thread and I seriously have not laughed this hard in a long time. Thanks, everyone! I found out about this guy a while back, but had forgotten all about him. The sad thing is, I'll probably join him in the craziness when I get money saved up again and start snapping up all the Insecticons in a second round of insanity, but I promise not to drive up prices because that's seriously not cool (for me and for the rest of you). Besides, I have no plans to sell any of my stuff, but I do have a trumpet.......Hmmmmm....

The reason he buys these is simple. It's not to drive up the price and make money ( he's spending so much for them now, he wouldn't make that much ). It merely to irritate the fans that try to buy both figures. You can get one real cheap, but the other will either be near impossible to find and really expensive if you do. He's twisted and probably reads threads like this and laughs at the mayhem he's causing.

I'd like to know what kind of job he has to be able to afford to do this.

He's probably a doctor. If he has a Lancaster address I probably know who he is...
