Back in my day, (which is ten years ago) companies used to release demos. Try a game out for free! That's awesome! Maaaaaan. The demo for TMNT: 1989 arcade was badass! Sometimes the demos are so fun, you'll wanna replay them over, and over again! But for some reason, demos kinda stopped. Why? I could blame this on a company's greed, but that's not fair. Demos left an impression on a game. Nowadays, you have to either rely on open betas, Kiosks (which may or may not be covered in boogers,) or the internet to get an impression on a game. Some companies still do it. Like Nintendo... be honest, when was the last time Microsoft released a demo for the Xbox One. I don't know why, any ideas?
