[1,000]Kibble is a necessary evil in this business. Kibble is also sometimes mandatory to give the toy the characteristics of the transformers it's portraying. These new figures try to stay inline with what their G1 Counterparts were while giving them an updated feel and better articulation, with the price point that Hasbro is working with, some "losses" in design are going to have to be accepted.

I really don't think the kibble looks that bad on most of the figures, if anything it helps explain how a robot can become a vehicle at all. You gotta except it for what it is sometimes, or you'll never accept anything really.[/1,000]

At least it's not alternating orange and yellow words. :p

Me, I love the toyline. For the most part there's only major kibble where the kibble was on the G1 original (door wings, etc), although obviously there's some exceptions. But I'm not bothered by Ironhide's backpack or anything like that.
Dunno what the OP's on about (certainly regarding Hound having kibble), but each to their own.

    G1 Prime: Shoulders, ellbows, knees
Classics Prime: Head, waist, shoulders, knees, hips, toes all barely affected by kibble

    G1 Megatron: Shoulders, pseudo hips
Classics Megatron: Head, shoulders, knees, hips, toes all barely affected by kibble

    Etc.

    I can't.

Classics 1.0 and 2.0 are the same line to me. But if you insist, Cheetor, Hot Shot, Galvatron and friends offer various degrees of kibbleness. Personally, I never cared for kibble.

I think you don't know what kibble is.

Meh. The guy doesn't like the line and that's fine. As for not answering well, I wouldn't have been able, at 13, to give articulated reasons for my opinions that would have satisfied the likes of us. Oh, and Classics is awesome. Got me back into TFs in fact. Hot Shot isn't even bad when you pop off that shoulder kibble and give him boxing gloves.

Seriously though i think for the most part these are some of the best engineered transformers we have seen to date. They also reflect the characters fro the shows amazingly, I have been really nothing but pleased with the line.

Uhm....you listed the parts on Optimus' arms and Megatron's wings. I addressed them. I view 'kibble' as parts of the alt mode that hang off the robot mode that hinder movement. Like Classicverse Hot Shot's backpack and most of the BWNeo line. The parts on Optimus and Megatron don't do that.

You listed kibble for G1 Prime and Megatron yet they have none. Clean limbs all over.

I listed NO kibble for G1 Prime and Megatron, I compared their articulation to their Classics counterparts even with the 'kibble' you cited on the Classics versions. I realize this is really an unfair comparison to judge toys that were released 20 years apart, but I was trying to expound on your argument.

edit: after rereading my first post I can see how you thought I was comparing kibble and not articulation in spite of kibble. I apologize for the poor wording.

Clearly not everyone likes this line, since the op doesn't. Therefore the op's original statement is false and he likes this line just like everyone else.

Animated does not suck and G1 is my 2nd fave line next to animated, I just dont like how the toys in this line are constructed, also with the constant voyager repaints
