(btw this is talking bout the third movie) Not only does he get alot, but Bee gets alot of close up transformations too. and sideswipe gets like 2 far away ones I think Bee has more then Prime
Because he is one of the main characters, and also the one intended for kids and young fans to identify with.
Sideswipe? What about Ratchet, Damn'it? Three movies and he was the only Autobot to not have a detailed Transformation, the came always pans away when he transforme. Poor guy can't catch a break.
The robot forms of the Wreckers didn't even make sense. Mainly Roadbuster though. In car mode, he didn't have a hood, yet in robot form, he did.
Because he's practically the main Autobot character in the trilogy- even more so than Optimus Prime. Something I hate about the movieverse. I wish Bumblebee got less focus. In G1 I liked how we was just kind of that guy nobody hated that hanged out with the humans, but he didn't steal all the screen time either.
One thing Michael Bay got right is I remember him saying something somewhere about adding in more transformations. He figured the movie is called transformers, so they need to show a lot of transforming. Bumblebee's transformations in DOTM were incredible. That freeway transformation with Sam flying through the air was utterly mind-blowing in 3d and slowmotion. Also had very little obvious cheating; you could pretty much see where everything went. Really want to see a deconstruction of that on the blu-ray. Most of the other characters didn't get such flashy transformations, but let's face it, Bumblebee is the star. As the main human contact with transformers, he's never going to be far from the action.
Bumblebee is Sam's buddy and protector so it kind of seems logical that we will see Bumblebee more than the other Autobots because Sam is the everyman character people can relate to. Plus the people who have some pull with the production of these films seem to really like Bumblebee and people with some pull like to put in the favorite character as much as they can.
Also, I remember BB was the first bot ILM did a model for. And was more/less the direction of design for the TF's. And also what Ash/Carolina said.
