    >Watching ROTF
    >Optimus Prime owning three Decepticons at the same time
    >manages to kill one
    >disables another
    >Gets cheapshotted by Megs while looking for Sam
    >Megs says "YOU'RE SO WEAK"

Yeah you keep thinking that Megatron.

The Decepticons do get all the good shit, but they just always get taken down in some stupid way or Prime kills them easily.

Epps was panicking at the moment from the colossal Decepticon Kraken. I'd say something like that too!

The movie Decepticons are portrayed at first glance to be unstoppable killing machines, then the good guys find a way to stop them and kill them in a badass way, or simply take them out one shot kill (the rail gun and Devastator, Optimus and the Driller).

Evil is always more spectacular showing how good can overcome an obstacle like that.

The thing the Decepticons had was numbers, Proven in ROTF against Prime. But they lacked the tactical prowess of Prime alone, not counting the other 'Bots and their unorthodox styles. The decepticons had the right artillery, but were far too savage/cybertronian acting. The 'Bot's worked with the human military for years, and picked up alot of great strategy.

Very true! This was cool at first but became a little frustrating. All the 'Cons do is growl and act brutal. It was as if they weren't even sentient beings. They didn't have a real strategy. All they knew was shoot = kill. But even then, their aim wasn't all that great. But I guess they just suffered from the typical Storm Trooper effect like every other henchmen in existence.

It makes sense when you look at, a book I mention quite frequently, ''Exodus''. In that book, many sort of brutish and sluggish thugs join the Decepticon ranks, and have little or no training and planning beyond that of the gladiator pits, so they don't have any sort of refined tactics, and when against the idealist and well thought out, and trained style of the autobots, they are no match. Its like giving a crazed group of neanderthals machine guns, against mechanized army soldiers. No contest with that one. No matter the toys and cool gadgets they come up with, if you can't implement them, it doesn't matter.

If Shockwave had more to do with the movie, in the creating of the bot's like he did when he created the Constructicons in Exodus, I think they would have had a better chance.
