Why do the Decepticons always get the good shit?- Eps on the Driller

Well no longer with the Dinobots. For once the Autobots have the size advantage.

In ROTF we had Devastator, in DOTM we had giant Hatchets in the prologue and Driller. While Decepticons can be larger than Autobots up until AOE the Decepticons had a monopoly on giants.

Unfortunately this means the balance of power shifted on the Autobots side.

In a future sequel I can see the Decepticons unleashing again giants to counter the Autobots own giants. Fighting on even terms so to speak.

Since using older models is not a problem for TF films like Grindor, Constructicons, Sideways and the Decepticon Protoforms. I like to see ether a Devastator or Driller brought back to fight the Dinobots. Even that Hatchet Dread just to have mounted combat.

 

Devastator was so unstable and weak in ROTF, I don't think he meant to be a fighter. On the other hand, Grimlock is huge and powerful, he would decapitate poor Devs with just one swing of his mace. Driller isn't a real threat either, all it takes is just cut his head off, which can be easily done with knights swords and Dinobots have plenty of those.
I wonder how Lockdown managed to capture these guys.   Decepticons would have won if they had 2 or 3 mercenaries like him.

 

I hate the Driller with a passion, waste of CGI money.

 

I would prefer to see Menasor or Bruticus going against the Dinobots.

 

Forget about combiners, it's done, bring up the giant fortress-sized TFs, Have the cons unleash Tripticon and counter fire with fire when the Dinobots attack them, If we're ever going to get Unicron, we need to go to the tier of Omega Supreme and Metroplex first.

 

I have this thoughts too  Yeah!!! I'm so happy that Autobots get so mighty allies!!! And every time when decepticons have advantage Autobots ALWAYS will find how to respond!!!
