Sorry if this is a stupid thread to some and probably not worth making just to ask this question. But I didn't want to ask it in another thread and derail someone else's thread.

So as many times as I've looked at concept art for Brains for TFs AOE and watched the movie, it wasn't till last night that while watching it again, I noticed Brains has wheels on his back.

How many have noticed this and has anyone ever questioned it? Why wheels and what were they used for? He didn't have them in DOTM as he only transformed into a laptop computer. So am I missing something from AOE? Was he supposed to have another alt mod as something with wheels?

Yeah that I know. He's using his severed leg as his walking stick. Still doesn't explain why he has wheels on his back?

Early concept art gave him engine parts, wheels, pistons, and springs, like he was some sort of machine or vehicle. It's probably just residual from that. (Also, in the comics he was portrayed as big, which might be based on earlier concepts).

Might be just some sort of design choice because the artist thought it looked really cool. Or it could just be an alt mode that they never got around to using. We saw with Laserbeak that they aren't limited to just one alt mode.

    It's concept art, nothing more.
But It's hard to ever know, considering how lacking the bonus edition movie sets have been.
