Its the truth, as you just so accurately displayed here.
Not liking certain aspects of the franchise doesn't make anyone any less of a fan than anyone else. It's called an "opinion".
No to anything you ever say ever again.
I haven't seen any hate.
Because it's a Bay Transformers movie, with Krueger "writing." Given the track record of the TF movies that involved both of them, it's not exactly encouraging.
>Bronies don't bitch over changes
Remember Derpy Hooves? Bronies totally didn't throw a fit over her name change!
Because the last three movies were boring or horrible. Since we couldn't get Bay off this franchise I see no reason to expect a movie that's actually good.
So I imagine everyone who disliked the other movies will just steer clear of this one. They've had enough evidence to prove they're not gonna like it, so it's all smooth sailing from here for both sides.
Some of us loved the first one and then they went steadily downhill from there, to the point that some of us think RoTF is better than DoTM. So following that path, 4 can only be worse than DoTM. Its possibly not a fair thing to say, and maybe Bay just needed a break to get us back to where we were with 1.
Because all movie forum become bad. It's so sad... There are always enough people who criticized the Film, but now it has become particularly noticeable since almost all of those who praise him are gone to other forums.
3 previous Transformers movies have sorta, kinda, maybe, possibly, potentially, somewhat set the bar for what to expect, so... there's that.
My problem with the last two movies is that the characters are so unrealistic and there are so many stupid scenes the movie is hard to be taken seriously. And I don't care if it's a movie about giant robots -- Transformers Prime and the Cybertron games proven to me that Transformers can be funny but also can be watched seriously, without making you feel like a complete moron for watching it.
Seriously, I brought a female friend to see DOTM with me, and I was embarassed throughout the second half of the movie. I was like, "She must think I'm a total idiot for liking this crap".
Plus, now that Starscream and Soundwave are dead, I have no hope at all for the movie franchise of appealing to me, at least until a reboot is made, with a director that takes his movie seriously this time.
That's my opinion, not a fact.
Because the past three films have been sorta mediocre. And also it's in keeping with this fandom's tenancy to be a bunch of whiny bitches.
I just hope TF4 makes a few more BB repaints for my collection, he is so popular!
-Are the TF designs going to be changed? Doubt it.
-Will there be new TFs with colors other than yellow, black, green, or red? Doubt it.
-Will there be more grey colored TFs? Most likely.
-Will there be more focus on the Transformers? Doubt it.
-Will a new minor human character have more character moments in 10 min before dying than a main TF in the whole movie? Most likely.
-Will we have to watch 15 min of the main human character's life before a TF comes on screen? Probably.
But I'm sure there will be 1 AWESOME aerial battle, 2 GREAT car chases, 2 ROCK YOUR BRAINS OUT ground battle, and 2 slo-mo close-up melee battle scenes...and these scenes will have people here saying it was better than DOTM.
For good measure, I'm going to add maybe a close up of a human crotch and/or butt, and maybe a monkey humping scene.
Bumblebee is a kiddies favorite so they would do some repaints of him probably
1. Bay is still directing and he's pretty clearly never going to change.
2. The biggest concern the staff seems to have is who is going to replace Shia as the human lead, meaning they're still likely going to prioritize boring human teen drama over the whole war thing.
In other words its not really going to change.
Maybe Mr. Jones should realize that his current path isn't doing him any good, and that he should try going a different way.
A lurker just asked me to post this.
(Yes, it's work safe)
He felt this was a good 45 sec representation of the upcoming 4th movie, right down to the narration at the end, a la Optimus for the 3 movies
Agree or disagree, doesn't matter to me, this is techincally not my post.
I for one am looking forward to the forth. I just tend to block all the negative points out of my mind and focus on the robots beating on each other. If you do that, they are much more enjoyable. Plus I love the toys. For things that involve story and character development, I go to Prime, and get all of the above, including the toys. I dont see how more giant robots is a bad thing(dispite being surrounded by a boring human story noone cares about)
Well, because they thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like happiness. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men....just want to watch the world hate.
