Why are we hating on Transformers 4? (already)

    We are 2 years from the movie and Im already seeing so much hate! People need to chill out! At least wait for a trailer to judge, maybe the fourth will be the best and you will regret what you said today! Im just saying that not all of Michael Bays movies are bad or will be.

    Transformers 4, another Bay TF movie, is going to be the best yet? If 3 movies so far are something to judge by, I cannot be that optimistic.

    Lucky for me I have G1, BW and Animated for my TF fix.

    Because people assume that since Bay is again directing, he is going to completely screw around with Ehren's script and make it an action/romance with just a few robots to liven things up.

    I can't see this thread ending well.

    But in all seriousness...

    Pretty much this. Accurate, if a bit hyperbolic.

    There are quite a few reasons for fans to not get their hopes up/expect to be disappointed. But in the end, does it really matter? Those who like the movies will continue to like them and those that don't like them will probably continue to do so as well.

    That also assumes Kruger's script will be fantastic to begin with.

    I don't know, I've seen the "extrapolating from ... we assume ..." construction often enough. /nonemorepedantic :D

    the hate is 1. cause bay is doing it

    or 2. its a sequel and not a reboot.

    i am not mad at all. (i only have one problem, but most of you know what it is)
