It's bullshit. Because Ireland just get everything the UK gets. But we don't have Toys R Us so we can't get AOE deluxe and voyager figures. Argos has AOE leader Prime and Grimlock though. Symths Toys is the main place to go for toys in Ireland but we only have Beast Hunters figures and flip and change AOE figures. But as a joke they gave us that re-release of DOTM Leader Bumblebee as an AOE figure and no other proper AOE figures. Funny joke Hasbro.

 

Your best bet would be to venture into the UK discussion thread and ask if anyone is willing to pick you up a set from TRU and send it to you.

It's also buy one get one half price at the moment. Which ones are you after?

 

Since it was shoved into the generations line, I presume other companies such as argos didn't want to buy them because they thought "its not the main line" leaving hasbro giving toys r us the "Hey want some exclusives?" Since my toys r us is not where near me I have to pay for my figures online. It annoys me for some reason.

 

Hasbro really needs to look at the facts as they are, not just the numbers. The sales of one series may not represent another. For example, if someone only likes the movie toys, they migh not have bought any from Prime or Beast Wars. Hasbro sees that toy sales are down and decides to cut future toys, movie included.

Sucks that distribution over there is so bad. May be a good idea to make buddies with some US folks. Probably almost cheaper to get them a list (especially if shipped loose) and have someone over here grab them where we are swimming in them.

 

Its less poor availability and more sucks to be you if you dont have a TRU anywhere near you. Oh well. I got my share from their website.

I buy stuff online to but I like going to the stores to buy TFs (unless they're just NOT available in the UK). I expect a MOVIE toy line to be readily available in all major retailers. Instead all we have are 1 step changers and flip changers (and any other simple toys under the AOE banner).I dont have anything against those, bur I dont see why we cant buy deluxes, voyagers and leaders at an ordinary retail outlet? Is it due to Beast Hunters not doing as well as they hoped?
