I'm surprised there's no poll for this yet lol, I kinda doubt It's Hot Rod due to the accent tbh, I'd guess Bumblebee if he could talk. I really don't know who else it could be.

i do think the trailer proclaiming 'optimus prime has left us' has a dual meaning....as if they're preparing us that prime is gonna be gone..but i mean..he can't be gone...can he?!

Logically Hot Rod, but one detail I know that hasn't been shared with public yet makes me think of Bumblebee. So I'm torn.

 

Bumblebee Prime just doesn't feel right.

 

And what's that detail?

 

I want to say Hot Rod, but I just can't see them using a leader with a French accent. Never in the franchise have the Autobots had a leader with a non-American accent, and I can't see these super American movies being the ones to change that. I guess that means Bumblebee, which I really, really don't want to see happen. Especially with this version of Bee, but I fear the writers are just gonna ignore the way he was written in AOE.

Bumblebee seems most likely. He is the Autobot that has stuck around for the most films aside from Prime and seems like a well loved character by the general public. There is also a guy conspicuously similar to him in description running around, ready to take the role of "cool car" kid appeal character from him.

 

I don't know. Bee and Roddy just seem too glaringly obvious. I still think it will be somebody unexpected.
