I just got my primus the other day and was wondering who the Leader ( I assume he's a leader) behind Star Convoy on the back of the box.
He's Dai Atlas, the main hero from the Zone OVA. While Victory Saber was still in command during that episode, he was heavilly wounded while evacuating an exploding planet the Decepticons destroyed, and so Dai Atlas took over command. At the end of the OVA, Victory Saber acknowledged Dai Atlas as the new field commander of the Autobot army. Continuity wise, he fits between Star Saber and Star Convoy. He's a cool bot, big, four different modes (jet, robot, tank, and Micromaster base). He can also combine with the original Sonic Bomber and Roadfire to form a huge (2 foot long) jet called Big Powered. He's motorised, rolls along on big rubber treads in all his modes. Toy is a little hard to find, your best bet might be to go for the Big Powered giftset since Roadfire is so scarce individually. Dai Atlas on his own is easier to find, though, if you hunt down the Brave Express Might Gain version, called Goryu. He sports a rather sharp black, red and white colour scheme. There're also the C-888 KO versions, who aren't bad, but some parts aren't perfectly assembled, and the peg holding the vehicle forms together is prone to stress. But, of the three, that's also the cheapest to aquire. FYI, the TF Universe King Atlas character is strongly based on Dai Atlas. I don't know much of what King Atlas' story was meant to be, but he is, effectively, Dai Atlas displaced in time and space to fight on in the Universe wars. (Dai in Japanese can be translated as King, although it is not a 100% correspondance).
Ya thanks for the info Sol that’s awesome Anyone have any pics of this guy by chance? I’ve seen a few, looks massive but I’ve never really seen any good shots of him, or any of his various combining buddies like Wing Saber.
I will try and post some pictures tonight. I need a bunch of Dia Atlas parts and Sonic Bomber's micromaster. Here's a picture of a boxed Roadfire.

Thanks for the info SF. I have the C-888 version but pieces fall off alot and go 'dink' in the night. Id recommend it unless your loaded with cash and can eBay like a shark.
