I'm too busy reading five chapters before tomorrow.

Also I really couldn't care less about watching a bunch of guys running around.
And then watching people sitting around a table talking about the guys running around.
And then seeing masses of people cheering and booing the guys running around.

I welcome reading about intercultural communication.

Until they introduce players with broadswords, whose sole purpose is to attack opposing players if they get too near the goal, I'd rather eat my own flesh than watch football from any country.
And that goes doubly for any bastardised form of Rugby where the players have to wear body armour in case they get hurt. Awwwwwwww, bless their little cotton socks.
I've been watching Stargate SG1 all day; as far as I'm concerned, even the ending credits are more interesting than a football game.

I was watching the Law and Order marathon, then I switched over to check out the PuppyBowl. Then I flipped back to Law and Order and just started coding things.

LOL I was watching the Puppy Bowl earlier, too. Also, the kitty half time show. God, I'm lame.

Hey, I'm not. I caught a bit of the pre-game show (boring as hell, as usual), and watched some of the Dallas vs. Detroit b-ball game. Don't know who won that one.

I'm waiting for some of the commercials to be available to watch online.

High School taught me that the easiest neutral prompts in the USA are:

-"Did you see the game last night?"
-"Do you know who won last night?"
-"So, which team is your favorite?"

Allow other party to elaborate ad nauseum, feign interest until you've built some semblance of camaraderie, then move on to meaningful conversation.

Count me in on football hate. Never understood the appeal of the sport.

I gotta say, though, this is the perfect night to go to your favorite restaurant or store, since 98% of the US is at home, glued to their tvs. My wife and I discovered this a few years ago and have enjoyed crowd-free SB Sundays since. It's practically a national holiday, which completely boggles our minds.

I spent most of today sleeping, went to the grocery store, and did a law assignment.

I personally don't care for football. I also think that it's a wussy sport in comparison to rugy (not that I care for rugy much either).

Well, for all you guys who need to fake being "in" on the game, you can just say it was a horrible game. Sloppy football so far on both sides.

The end of the season match-up between these teams was infinitely more interesting.

I didn't even know who was playing until yesterday.

    To hell with it.
