Got mine today in Miami for the midnight showing. So far only two theatres are preselling. Thankfully one is not too far away.
Got mine a few days ago for a gold class session at Great Union Me and my friend were tossing up between this or going to the midnight session at Imax, but we had a good feeling we would have to get there really early to get good seats and no telling who we end up sitting next, either someone quiet and focused on watching the film or someone who likes to constantly check their phone for the time and talk loudly to people sitting next to them; and with gold class, no rush getting there early or worried about bad seats since we picked them
I got my ticket for 12:55pm on June 24th, 2009 with my best friend and another ticket for 7:00pm on June 24th, 2009 with my fiance...so glad I decided to put in a day off request when the release date was announced like a year ago! I saw the last movie in theaters about 6 times...so I will have to schedule more showings with more friends and family.
Can u get advance tickets online, or do u have to show up at the theatre. Cuz the online thing aint workin well for me.
No ME My parents will be buying me ticket seeing how I don't have a job (I'm only a kid cut me some slack) and the allowance has been postponed until I become "responsible" and do my ever increasing chores. But whatever I hope to see it on opening day at least.
I wanted to get 12AM, but I can't go at that time. So 2PM on the 24th it is. In IMAX, and I couldn't be happier.
Go to Fandango.com, and you should be able to as long as a local theatre is selling them. I was going to buy them on Fadango, but went to the theatre because Fandango didn't accept my gift card.
I got mine for the 10:15 am IMAX showing on the 24th. Should be minimal people at that time and I can enjoy a nice breakfast before seeing what sure to be a sensory overload.

Why the hurry to buy them , do your theaters sell out that bad ? The theater near me will have this in the three bigest theaters in the Loews complex. And i would keep an eye on your tickets, the ink on those fade pretty damn fast . I know my stubs from the first TF movie faded to white within a week or so after i went to see it. Sucked too cause i wanted to keep it as a momento and all it says now is Pepsi
I got two tickets for the IMAX showing on the 24th for 12:15pm showing. None of my tickets have faded, I have ticket stubs from 04'. Plus my IMAX theatre in Universal City Walk allows you to pay ahead and pick up your tickets there and avoid the long lines.
I've bought 10 IMAX tickets so far for three separate dates, Opening night I'm seeing a midnight show in IMAX with 2 other friends, on the 25th I'm taking my brother and nephew to another IMAX showing, then on the 27th I'm going to another IMAX showing with my wife and another couple.
its the first step in seeing the movie i suppose. and i printed mine out so i have no worry about fading ink. im going to the 7pm show on the 24th. ya see im a stay at home dad who starts his day at 6am everyday and i dont have anyone to watch the little one ( she'll only be 1 yr old for 3 days, too little to go, AND stay seated and quiet)
