Its been a while since I watched all 3 at once. I think there is no better time than before Age of Extinction to do this.
Maybe DOTM, can't stand the majority of the second one. May re read Nefarious though, sure it's a filler comic but I liked it.
Watched the first one last night, about to watch the second and third, then see AOE tomorrow morning.
My friend and I just watched all three movies in one sitting on Sunday, and we plan to see AOE this upcoming Sunday.
Yeah, a friend of mine who is a new convert to Transformers and I have watched the first 3 over the last 3 weeks as a Thursday night filler. We're both flying to Sydney on Friday to see TF4 in IMAX 3D, because the small theatre in our town is pretty pathetic and the hype for AOE has been legit enough to warrant spending $$$ on the adventure
I already watched 1 and 3, 2 I chose not to because I can't stand the humor. It's a shame because there's so many great characters. (i.e., Constructicons)
That's pretty much the exact same situation as me- there is a theater in my town, but it's dinky and pathetic and there's a gigantic 16/17 screen theater fifty miles away, along with a ton of other stores and attractions, so AOE is going to be the catalyst for a nice road trip.
I rewatched all three with my partner just a week ago because they hadn't seen any of them. I actually had forgotten how much I actually like the first one and how ROTF's real problems mostly started with the extremely bloated second and third act, rather then being completely unforgivably awful from start to finish. DOTM comparatively went a lot down in my opinion, I seemed to remember it being better then it actually was. I also liked Megan Fox a lot more then I remembered! Rosie was actually a lot worst then her and had a lot more sex-ploitation. I remembered the opposite!
I'm taking my son to see AOE on Thursday night. My plan is we will watch the TF1 and ROTF tomorrow and DOTM Thursday morning before going to the show.
I rewatched all three. The first always reminds me of that awesome feeling of getting to see the autobots transform and introduce themselves to Sam. Optimus Prime! Alive! ROTF makes me laugh. The forest fight is awesome. It's not great cinema, but in context of the writers strike, I forgive a lot of it. DOTM. I really like it. The race to moon sequence is great for an American. In 3D I felt like I was at the Kennedy Space Center watching Apollo lift off. I also love Mr Half Head Megatron. I don't think Rosie was bad. But, the more I see DOTM, the more I know it would have been much better with Megan Fox. The Chicago battle, Sam trying to get back to his love, would have made more since and had better continuity than Carly, who we didn't have a chance to care about yet. Too bad Megan couldn't have kept her mouth shut. :-/ I love each one in different ways. I'm so ready for #4!
Yesterday watch The First Movie than Today watch ROTF,Tomorrow gonna to watch DOTM before AOE on the Midnight Showing at Thursday Night.
I'm not watching them all at once, but I've been watching one a week leading up to now. I'll be watching Dark of the Moon either today or tomorrow.
Cas! Anyways, watched TF1 last night. RotF tonight. DotM tomorrow night. AOE Thursday night. TF1 still puts me into full on 10-year-old mode.
