Step Dad was Navy, and that almost had me move to Italy. I was really close, but they could not import medications needed for my mother to live there. Brother in law is a Marine, Uncle Joe is a Marine Uncle Chuck was Green Beret, Grandfather was Army. Step Mom was Royal Canadian Military, then became US Airforce. Two Step Brothers in the Army as well. I was thinking of Marines at one point in my life.. but yeah, that's not happening for a few reasons. I think I still have my old military ID from when I lived on bases. I have nothing but respect for the women and men that serve any country in the military. I have several opinions about individuals that are in there, but I don't doubt the risk that they take when they fulfill their duties.
My dad was in the Marine Corps for 20 years, retired about a decade ago as a Captain. My mom would have finished boot camp near the top of her class, but got married instead. XP Pretty much all of my grandparents were military of some sort. One grandfather was a Navy Sea-Bee. Grandma was Marines. Other grandpa was Air Force, as I recall. The list goes on, but I'll just leave it to the closest relatives.
