I figure I would get the question out, and i'm sure I can't be the only one who would like to see this.... I know Hasbro has to do their thing budgetwise for their figures, but as much as I like my Leader Jetfire I just received from TRU..... It needs some serious work.

What are some things I would really like to see? My list is below.

1. Inner covers for the upper thighs. IMO the hollowness looks terrible on a leader class figure.
2. Inner covers for the upper arms.
3. New forearms! Get rid of the hollowness here altogether. A lot of things can be done from this. Forearms can be reworked to have hands that accommodate wrist swivels. Maybe having partial posing new hands.
4. A new gun (Like G1 style)
5. New armor and backpack, maybe a more hybrid style which is a blend of the original G1 with a modernized reenvisioning.
6. Maybe a new blockier style mosecone section to replace the existing one, still utilizing the same transformation.

Could be a long shot to wish for, but this would make for a great upgrade kit.

I'll take any G1ish styled upgrades. Articulated fingers , and a closer G1 style gun WITH weapon storage when in flight mode would be really nice.

 

I'd honestly be amazed if 4 and 5 don't happen.

 

Non chrome replacements for all the accessories.

Id like to see a fill in for the upper chest it looks strange w/ all the hollowness he has.

 

All I'd want is the square nose and blocky jetpack.

I would be all for an upgrade set for him it's a great mold.

 

I'd be more excited for what Reprolabels can do with him since he is simple and clean looking, and Hasbro held back on the piant Apps.

G1 toon conversion would be cool, but seems like a hard sell.

Yep. Having these upgrades will give me a reason to buy Leader Jetfire.

 

If you want Strike or GBP Armor then maybe just buy a Valkyrie instead.

Yes, Forearm fillers and various styles of "superparts" (Macross term   ) would make him look great, but I come from two schools of Jetfire styling/design:

1.) G1 cartoon - Very clean and white with some red accents most read is in the jetpack with not a lot of extra armor. (Generations Jetfire already does this very well) 2.) G1 Toy/Macross version - looks more like a Valkyrie with more armor/superparts.

So, other than the forearm fillers, I would also love to see some better custom designed armor parts and a G1 toy head with red visor and quad-canons.
