Thank you! Someone agrees with me finally! He did practically nothing the entire trilogy except shoot a few Decepticons and stand there and looking all pretty. He fixed Bee's voice sure but it just broke again! That's all!

I saw him as a useless Autobot, and in most series I like Ratchet but not in the Bayverse, they totally screwed up his character. Sure they got it right, but you never really saw it shine though.

I disagree. I see it as groveling to be saved and I see him as a coward. I mean he's a scientist, not a warrior. He should not have been in the battle in the first place. No disrespect, but he got what he deserved for being in a place he should not be.

Unfortunately he didn't have a choice, as they were kicked out of their base, and traveling together.

And they needed every able bot, since Ironhide was gone.

Besides Que was useful. He gave Sam the soldiers the boomsticks, which killed quite a few cons. All Dino did was terrorize the Iranian guards (which any bot could have done) and assist in taking out Hatchet, who was already underfire from Bee and Sideswipe. And tackle one guy, after which he vanished for the remainder of the movie.

 

LOLWUT? Mirage was by far the new Autobot most disposable to the plot. All he did was lasso Hatchet (a 5-second moment of an action beat) and threaten some Iranian soldier (which had no real significance). Wheeljack on the other hand actually built the device that killed Starscream.

 

Exactly. Mirage was a red Sideswipe. Unless your such a sportscar buff that the Ferrari is really that big a difference from the Stingray, he's basically a clone.
