Well, I spotted some of the hobby shop on my side are carrying Takara version of TF4 toys.

Takara's wave 1 for TF4 have amazing paint and have more selection.

I held back on Hasbro's evasive prime and octane Bee. But once I saw the Takara version, I spend no time getting them.

Now I am thinking do I want to buy a second set of Dinobots.

How many of you will hold back getting Hasbro version and go for Tomy Takara version instead.

By the way, the Taraka version of Slug is amazing colored. Glittering metallic purple on it is simply stunning.

Same. I'll be taking a wait-and-see approach based on what Takara does with their stuff.

 

According to Robotkingdom article, there really isn't much of a difference.

The only one I might have my eye on is Scorn. Right now there's no pics comparing the two out of package to make me justify spending the extra on the fig.

 

I'm holding out on the Dinobots and Galvatron as I prefer my toys to be in movie accurate colours. Its bad enuff that Galvy is a shellformer but I'm hoping that the grey plastic used by TT and the paint apps make the figure pop.

 

Nope.... The only thing I'm interested from them is Dino.

 

The difference is subtle but for those who go for the look and the build quality will definitely noticed (in our eyes) the striking difference.

With picture it will be hard to tell much. The feel is totally wow when you see the difference physically.

Example, I hate the all blue shoulder color which mixed into the same bicep color of the hasbro evasive prime. But on the takara version. Not only they painted the soulder pad different color. They even painted the flame motif on it.

After June 21, I will have an AD-16 Deluxe Dino from Robotkingdom.

 

No regrets getting the Takarafomers right?

I was on high when loading up on Takara's AOE that I occidentally got 2 Dispensor. Silly me, this weekend gonna bring back to the retailer to change.

Anyone who got Takara Slug, could you share with me if the bottom of the package joining to the cardback was sliced open and taped? Mine was.

Seems like I need to do 2 trade back with the retailer this week .
