Obviously Crosshairs paid the the price and likely Drift too. Bumblebee tried to stop Optimus but failed misearbly.

What do you mean Crosshairs and Drift obviously paid the price? They aren't even in the Trailer... and you say Bumblebee failed yet we've seen about 7 seconds of the scene. Where are you basing all of this on?

 

It'd be nice if Hot Rod saves Prime for a change.  

 

I'm voting Megatron because why not. He's literally done next to nothing in all these movies, so he should start doing something about that, like kicking Prime's ass.

Anywho, I think it will be Megs who begrudgingly saves Optimus and they will both take on the Quints and Unicron.

of all the known filmverse characters we've seen so far only megatron & sentinel have proven capable of stopping movieverse prime & sentinel is gone so..

Bad box office receipts are the only thing that can stop Optimus.

But I think it may be Grimlock and his mini Dinos that stop him.

Wouldn't it be a crazy twist that after all this time and Megs being brutally killed over and over by OP and humans that it's Megs that has to kill OP? But Megs does it with a heavy Spark, doesn't really want to but has to to stop OP from killing others lol.

 

I'd like it to be Megatron. If Optimus kills Bee and Megatron comes in to give him a good fight/defeat him, this film would have enough in it to justify the purchase a movie ticket. Megatron has always gotten the shaft since the first movie and it would be crazy fun to see him actually do something.

What I think is going to happen is that Hound will come in and get killed but also manage to stop the fight. The Bumblemus/Rodimus Prime will defeat Optimus.

 

Cade - the last movie Optimus killed to save him. In this movie i get the feeling Cade will kill Optimus to 'save him' from himself.

In addition, i expect Optimus could just end up changing back in the last few seconds of his life, sacrificing himself to defeat the movie's main villain.

 

I think it would be more interesting if Megatron defeated Optimus. But spared his life, that would be a total twist on DOTM's ending and a real shot in the nuts to Prime's character.

 

And that could lead to Prime questioning if he's fit to be leader like the plot info said.
