Well Jack is supposed to be the normal guy that got dragged in, he's supposed to feel "normal" and honestly he does his job much better than Sam did in the movies (there's no way that chipmunk on crack was a NORMAL dude dragged in, during TF and TF2 he acts more awkward than a teenager being caught masturbating to beastiality.)

I just don't see how Jack is emo at all, and it's not the first time I see people calling him emo;

Jack being emo is a fan joke.....the same way that Prime is a dick.

 

Jack is an actual sensible human character with hidden heroics traits, something a lot of fans of Transformers were awaiting so long.

 

This. I'm far from being a father (and I don't plan to be one anytime soon), but I've seen enough news reports about child abuse/murder from the parent(s)/babysitter becoming annoyed with the kid(s). Kids can get annoying (I would know - I was an obnoxious li'l shit back when I was younger), and wishing death on them is just WRONG.

Case in point, HELL NO to Raf or Miko getting killed. I wanna see some [more] character development. Like, say, their regular lives in school. What about that Sierra girl Jack had the bon- eh, hots for? Miko isn't like other girls in the school - where's the cheerleader squad to look down on her? Raf is a brainiac - where's the bully? Can't have a smart kid without a bigger kid picking on him.   Just throwing ideas out here.

 

I would like to see more of Miko and Raf's lives in general. We dont know an awful lot about them.

We're apparently visiting Raf's house in season 2 and Miko pretty much explained her life to us in episode 4.

 

I'm just waiting for an episode where Miko leads the 'bots to Japan!

 

I would not condone killing her off but I would love to see Miko be sent back home. She is a liability to the show imo.

Mmmm... that rises a question. In the movie, the autobots learned about human´s history, culture, language, etc... through internet. So if they need to, let´s say, speak japanese, they only need to "download" a tranlate program?

I agree with the consensus though, I think we'll eventually see the kids prove themselves. Well, Raf already has shown he's good for tech support at Omega One, and Jack has shown his resourcefulness plenty of times, but Miko hasn't really done anything helpful yet. But I still don't want to see her off the show. Like shroobmaster said, she's a great character but that one trait drags her down sooooo much.

 

Off topic, but I came to the Prime board today misreading this as Rad instead of Raf.

 

Forget about Miko, I just want to see Starscream try to turn that giant Gundam statue into a Decepticon!
