Such a shame that you can't get it anymore, I had a lot of fun playing it when I was younger. There is a download on Steam Unlocked though, but I don't know if it's a virus.

Yeah, fun little game. Got me into the franchise as a whole actually.

 

I'm only familiar with its absolutely banging soundtrack.

 

Lol the game is only a few years old. But yeah, fun little game. It really felt like a lost episode to G1. The cliffhanger ending made me wonder if they had plans for a sequel that fell through.

 

This was a really fun game. I was alway hoping for a sequel to it. I’d even double dip if it had a port to the switch honestly.

 

They should make the story a loooooot longer.

 

If only it had a better budget to allow for more environmental variety. The game had some of the best combat that Platinum had ever produced.

Multiplayer would have been fantastic too if they could have figured out how to implement it without sacrificing the combat. Not sure how it would work with all the slow-motion sequences during fights.

Also being able to play as the decepticons would have been great too.

 

My favorite TF game but it's really obvious it was held back by it's budget especially with the reused levels

 

Totally. Not a perfect game, plenty of things it could've done to be even better but I enjoyed my time with it.

 

The BEST Transformers G1 media product of the last years. In every detail you can see the care the developers took to pay homage to the cartoon. Too bad it is a short game, has no multiplayer, should have had more DLC's and continuations, but unfortunately the contract with Activision was not renewed.  

 

All i remember Easy mode had several big difficulty spikes. Which is really annoying. And it's so hard to get the timing for the Buzzsaw Doors

 

I played through it on PS3, and I found a used copy for XB1 last year that I’m slowly playing through again. Definitely worth playing again, if I weren’t addicted to World of Warships Legends and MH:Rise right now.

 

It was fun but the frequent asset reuse was grating.

 

I have this game for my PS3 and I been meaning to give it a playthrough. Looks pretty sweet, I heard a lot of good things about it. I like the artwork on it too!

 

I have it on ps4. It’s a fun game, but it was also lacking in a lot of places.

Pros :

- Amazing soundtrack
- Voice acting
- Great character models, animation and graphic
- Fun combat but a bit repetitive
- Interesting (if a bit confusing) upgrade weapon system
- Fun challenge mode

Cons :

- Campaign is too short
- Same boring levels all over
- Repetitive in general
- No bonus characters as dlc (the skins they released do not really count imo)
- No way to play as the Decepticons, even in challenge mode

 

I will reiterate, unless I got old as shit overnight, which is possible, I remember old being the PS2, Dreamacast, PS1 era, so that would include, the original Amrada game and earlier. If you consider 2015 a long time ago, fuck me I am beyond old, because I grew up on the VHS, PS1/PS2/Dreamcast era.

Fuck me even more because I am only 23, so that hurts even more, because I feel like I am 40 because no one remembers the VHS era and early gaming consoles era or even the BlockBuster/Hollywood Video era

I remember seeing the marketing campaign for it, but I never played it I was never sure if it would run on an Xbox 360.

 

Great game (all the Cellshade fans got to love them!)

I still run it when i have a stress-out day so i can punch and destroy things w/o thinking.

As a "Hack and Slash" Game it works kinda fine. At the very least its our version of "Callidacs and Dinosaurs".
