    hey everyone,

i thought i'd share one of my favourite cartoons with all you guys and gals
    MIGHTY MAX

This is all the custom figures i have done for this series, please bearing mind the max, virgil and norman was the first time i have ever sculpted so i know they a bit pants but i do plan on redo them at a later date

also i tried doing a realisc approach rather than cartoon/animated style

    MAX
    DONE JUNE 2012

this is my first time at both, using green stuff and sculpting.

i started off with a mutt from indiana jones
and using greenstuff i added to the t-shirt too make it longer and the sleeves more open
the add the 'M' on the t-shirt,

then sculpted the hair and hat,

    after that i repainted it

    VIRGIL
    DONE JUNE 2012

this was a clone wars yoda, i cut loads off his head then reculpted it with greenstuff, the done a repaint, and dyed his cloak purple.

his rolled up scroll and capbearer statue were made from green stuff too

    NORMAN

    DONE july 2012

this one was so cool to make and learned loads of things, i am just gutted that i couldn't keep the articulation in the knees and hips....but he was too top heavy and kept falling :(

    the figure was made from....
    head-wwe raven
    torso-thor(lower)/colossus(upper)
    arm L-colossus
    arm R-thor
    legs-thor
    feet- wwe bubba ray

all with loads of aves fix-it

    WARMONGER

    done dec 2012

the main base is a marvel legends beast, with a resculpted head
the armor pieces are a mixture of fodder pieces and sculpted pieces
the sword is from a W.O.W figurine....some skeleton knight

i was quite pleased with this one as i managed to retain all the articulation which i am normally never succesful at doing

the cape is from marvel legends thor

the head was marvel legends magneto, rescuplted

This brings back memories! I had the Egyptian snake set.
How cool would TF themed playlets be that were like this?

    thank you :)

cheers, the cartoon was awesome..... and went wel with the playsets

thank you, yeah the whole max figure dont look right tbh... my excuse is= this was one of my first customs and my first time sculpting anything

thank you...ha you remembers both :D

yeah the the temple of venom (or palace of pioson in the USA) defo one of my top 3 sets defo the best doom zone playset

    thanks
that was mutts original look...the face was untouched plus he was always doom and gloom in the cartoon, and the earlier uk version was just creepy
    [IMG]

but i'll bear that in mind for the redo

    cool thank you

just google'd him and oh :(  he does

me to, and bea....my favourite character was spike thou even thou he only appeared in on episode

    cheers,
dooooo it, love to see them get some action

it did, imo one of the best cartoons of the 90's (up there with tf beast wars and spiderman animated)

thanks everyone for you comments and input
