    Gotta say Prime. Frank Welker's delivery for the character was top notch work in that show. He was horrible, very charismatic, an absolute sicko, totally desperate at times, intelligent & all around the kind of villain you love to watch cause you wonder just what are they gonna do next.

    Im right there with you. He was bat shit crazy funny as all hell a pure joy to watch. And the very first post said Beast wars was gonna murder all the rest..... Murder is in second place just sayin....... LOL

    Beast Wars. G1 Megs failed too often and so many of his plans were so outright goofy that I can’t take him seriously as a threat. He was really stifled by being an 80’s cartoon villain. I consider G1 to be the weakest interpretation of the character, and it would seem Hasbro is of the same mindset, as for how much they are milking G1, the “nuk nuk nuk I’m eviiiiil” version of Megatron hasn’t been revisited.

    As much as I enjoy G1 Megatron in all his campy 80s cartoon villain glory, my favorite Megatron is without a doubt a purple dinosaur.
