1. Which char is the left sideways picture? Found it at walmart. Do these mispackages have any inflated value? 2. not sure if it is public knowledge but be aware there are 2 breakaway paint jobs out there.
1.) Doubt it's a mispackage. If anything, someone bought a Sideways, replaced it with a Universe Silverstreak and returned it. 2.) Yep, we know. Sideways is the same.
Wow. The first is a repackaged Universe Silverstreak, someone took Sideways out of the package and put a Silverstreak in, resealed it, and returned it. The breakaway... good question.
Im no expert in packaging but i see no signs of tampering or re-sealing... Looks misb to me. If it was replaced it was done by an expert...
Ahahahaha....the package replacement scammers strike again!!! The most you can do is take it to the front desk and tell them what has happened...they'll look at you like you did it, but you can have the smug sense of satisfaction that comes from being a morally upstanding white knight, having saved some clueless kid from getting him home and discovering the dark side of "Product and Colors may Vary"!
Funny thing is if I didn't have a Classics Silverstreak already, I'd actually want that instead of the Sideways.
You don't need to be an expert to seal a package seamlessly, if you took care while opening it. And you might not see any evidence from this picture, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be noticeable if you had it in hand. In any case, it's infinitely more likely this is another example of the fairly common practice of toy swapping, and not the long-shot idea that a Universe toy that somehow got into the ROTF packaging of a similar-looking figure on the factory floor.
eh? I have both, Sideways is much, much cooler. But to each their own. Sure didn't take long for the 'figure switching' to start.
Yeah, I guess I just didn't like that mold so much. I like Prowl, and Silverstreak is ok, Smokescreen was kinda, "blegh." Kinda wish they'd made a Jazz out of that mold. Wasn't trying to be snarky though, I just really like Sideways. He reminds me of Kickback mixed with Barricade.

I do have them in hand... (Its my thread ) just saying that when i look closely at it i cant see how the package would have been opened. I really dont care as i dont have this figure so ill probably keep him anyway. Seems like and a lot of trouble to go through for a $11 character... but then again it was walmart...
