I know I'm excited for it. Changeing gears from animated/universe and getting a bunch of new toys to explore. Fiddling with a new mold is usually very fun.

 

Indeed. After buying nothing but Universe and Takara imports for the last year, I'm looking forward to sinking my teeth into a brand new line! Will definitely own nearly everything on May 30th.

 

Yep. I'm excited and lacking patience.

I'd like 3 x rotf Starscream, 2 x rotf Sideways, 1 x rotf Soundwave, 1 x rotf voyager Megatron and maybe some others down the line. Oh... and the Icecream Twins of course.

I really like them all default like that. I grew up with G1 and after a 2 decades hiatus, I'm excited again.

 

I'm really excited for ROTF, Though I'm just gonna buy On-Screen characters only cause I have no monies

 

Can I be half and half? There's a lot of designs I just can't get behind; but there are still a few figures I'd like to pick up like Dead End, Sideswipe, Sideways and Soundwave. I'm glad I passed on movie 1 Starscream, as the new one looks pretty hot.

I'm also tempted to pick up Leader Megatron but I dunno, I don't have very much room left and a figure of his size demands real estate.

 

I'm always cool when I buy Transformers.

 

ill be stuck getting a few on screen characters too due to lack of money   i was really impressed with the repaints from the first movie like big daddy and fracture (even though they werent movie molds) so im looking forward to something new like that! maybe a Tidal Wave/Broadside Repaint or something unexpected!

 

I'm not going to be buying a lot of them. That being said, the ones I do want I really can't wait for. I'm chomping at the bit to add leader class Prime & Megatron to my collection.

 

I am sure I'll end up with every new mold and remold. Where I'm gonna cut back is going to be on the over the top repaint and repackacing of the same mold. I ended up with 7 Bumblebees after the last movie, none of that crap this time. Also no fabs

 

I'll probably only stick to on screen characters, unless an absolutely must have mold of a character who didn't appear in the movie comes out.

On top of that, I want to do my best at just buying one version of each character. Though between Leader/Voyager Megs and the HA/regular versions of Bumblebee/Ironhide/whoever else that may be too hard. A poor college student who also has a video game addiction, and likes to eat, just can't overspend.

 

I will be picking up sideswipe and starscream.

 

I absolutely adore Breakaway and Knock Out. Those two guys are wonderful new transformation schemes for my two favorite types of alt-modes, and they're going to have a prominent place on my shelf. I've never had a problem with the movie aesthetic, although I did buy a bit too much from the last movie. I'll not be getting nearly as much this time around, but I am definitely not opposed to the toyline.

 

Folks:

I'll be getting some, sure. Certainly not all, probably more than a few. No plans for anything different from last time. I've always kept an eye on the budget.

 

There's some that I definitely hope to get.

But there's a lot that I don't care for. Some of these I probably will get anyway, some I may get, but only if they are on clearance at very attractive prices.

And then there's the others, ones that I definitely don't want under any circumstances.

I still love my movie 1 toys. Now I have to figure out whether to combine the 2 movie lines into one or keep em separate. Probably combine since I'll only re-buy characters if they are in a very new mold (i.e. Megatron).

 

ill be getting the ones that are a must for me and that will be it and only as my budget allows me to do so

i doubht ill get anyone else depends if i really like starscream repaints or not...

 

I'm really on the fence here. I don't mind the movie look, but I am not sure if I like compared to the more "traditional" look for Transformer toys. Though I LOVE the alt modes, I think their pretty sexy. I am certainly getting Sideswipe and Sideways, I am back and forth on the twins. I am pretty much sold on most of the scouts though and can't wait for them to show up in stores.

 

I'm still not a huge fan of a few of the movie designs. However, this time I want to pick up Optimus Bumblebee Soundwave and a few others.
