I've read it but it's been a while. I don't seem to recall there being very much to the plot itself, it was mostly world building for the "Aligned" continuity, sort of a way to tie in the WFC/FoC video games in with Prime. And somehow G1 and Bayformers. I guess.

Really, the whole idea of "Aligned" doesn't make sense.

Exodus is decent. The back half is a truncated adaptation of the WFC game, but the early stuff with Orion and Megatron is worthy. Exiles is wretched.

Read Exodus, Exiles and Redemption, all three in the series. They're okay. Could be better. Could be a lot better. But still okay. Exiles is the weak one in the series, but I've read worse. Far worse. Especially in this franchise.

They're all worth at least one read through.

Terribly written. I couldn't even make it half way through.

Exodus was okay but it seemed odd at times.

    This, in my opinion. :D

I enjoyed the books for what they were.

    Exodus was an okay book.

I did used to think the same about Exiles, but then I gave it some serious thought, and well...meh.

    Haven't read the third one.

Novels can never truly be pulled off for Transformers, I think.

Exodus is pretty good I think! First half is better than the 2nd half (muddled up WFC adaption) but Exiles is actually my favorite of the three, despite the Decepticons seeming not to get enough time in the book.

You ever read any of John Roberts prose TF work? Brilliant. Alex Irvine is the opposite of that.

It's neither. The book is called Retribution.

And yeah, Exodus is decent enough, but Exiles is an unreadable mess. Irvine appears entirely incapable of remembering what characters are in a scene, what they did last chapter, or even where they are.

I own it, and I barely got halfway through with it.

I'm now burnt out on the Optimus and Megatron origins.

i found Exodus redundant since it was mostly the plot of WFC.
I liked Exiles, mainly cuz I like the "Cybertron" idea of colony worlds.
Retribution was a great read, couldnt put it down.

Enjoyed Exodus, Exiles was okay...only a couple of chapters into Redemption....it's gathering dust on my night stand.

I haven't. I'm not much for reading novels unless it's for a college project
