okay, today i go to the nearest target in hopes of grabbing a superion set. so i go in and sure enough it ain't on the floor. well i get assistance to check for one, but they didn't have any, but the nearest store to the store that i was at had some. so then i go to that store and they also didn't have them out. they checked the inventory and said that they didn't have him, but the store that i just came from did. during all this i am going WTF is going on.....ugh...

on the bright side i finally found waspinator and managed to snag the only sunstorm/ratchet two pack for $18, so it wasn't all a waste of time

 

i cant find him either, gonna go hunting... tomorrow maybe? depends on whats goin on, im prbly gonna head to the one fairly far from here cause i havent checked it yet.

 

oh boy this is making me nervopus as i plan to hit a target on thursday to pick him up , I really hope they got him XD

 

Who knew that it'd be so hard to find that? Honestly, the week of release of ROTF toys my local Target, which usually sucks, had like 15 of them. I went back a week later--like 2. 

I thought more people already had him.

 

Superion has a release date of June 21st. A lot of Target have it in right now but won't put them on the shelves yet. Some have broken street date.

Just have patience. I'm sure there will be plenty available like the Sunstorm and Shockwave exclusives where when they where selling at regular price. Unless you want to make a big fuss about it to to Target staff and the manager might let you buy one just to make you go away...  

 

This makes me nervous, I can't get mine until next week. I'm having horrible flashbacks to the warpath, wheelie, cosmos shortage fiasco.

I used 087-06-0146 and got my Superion after trying 2 targets. The female employees are more helpful.

Tried that, It didn't work. I even went as far as calling the customer service line. What I found out was that the figures were to be released with all of the ROTF stuff on May 30th. So the stores that had them in stock already on the 30th put them out with the other Roth figures put Hasbro later released a memo to all Target stores that they changed the release date on these figures to June 21st. So the people that are still finding them on the self are finding the figures that were put out before the street date was changed. I went to three Targets stores all within 60 miles of where I live and was told the same thing over and over.

 

Got mine last week. Had to have them pull it out of the back for me though. Had to put up with some classic Target-itude (that's a play on Target and Attitude mashed together... stupid huh?) from the person I asked, but eventually I had one in my hands.

I told her I had a DCPI and she asked me where I got it. When I told her "it's on the website" she turned. Evidently there is some kind of significance with having them on the site or something. I didn't even know if they were actually on there or not at the time, but it seemed to work. Technically my response should have been "It's on the website. Oh, not Target's website. Tfw2005.com." but whatever.

 

We're swimming in them over here(Superion that is). I've been holding out because I think the price is too much, and there's been all the other stuff to catch up on.

Wish I could find Waspinator and Sunstorm+Ratchet though.

 

Make it easier to check your Target for Superion before leaving the house. (Of course, as stated before, you may have to come armed with the DCPI and have them pull from the back of the stock room.)

EDIT: Strange, but the inventory system isn't "available" right now for Superion even though it was working a few days ago. Don't know if it is temporary or not, but it's a good thing to check before driving all over town.

I'm totally confused as to the Bruticus situation though. I've seen a few things (notably tfw2005's resource section listing him as "released") to indicate he's out, but he IS still a myth, right?

Should I be hunting daily for him? Is he packed one to every 20th case of Superions, or is he REALLY coming out in a month or two?
