I dont know about anyone else, but I seriously want cylas to return in season 3, and in a big way. Though he was hauled away to be disected, i doubt with all the major events that occured right after that, knock out didnt have the time to do it and he remains imprisoned on the nemesis. it was left kind of open, and i think purposly.

I feel like he was a great villain and character that added to the dark nature of the show and he could still be used in the 3rd season.

If he were to come back, I see two scenarios for him:
1. megatron needs him for something and makes him a full memeber of the deceptiocons.
2. I like this one a lot better. It's inspired by the TMNT character baxter stockman in the 2005 series. Due to the S2 finale, humans now know of the decepticons. Cylas escapes and becomes part of a shady government group that is monitoring the autobots and decepticons and has a secret agenda.

 

I don't really want to see him. I was satisfied with the way he went.

 

No, I don't want Cylas back, he went out in season 2 and he should stay out of season 3.

I didn't like him even though he did make a great villain and added "interest" and a couple of decent episodes.

A few moments or flashback of him is fine but I don't think he'll be back in season 3 at least the way we remember him in season 2.

No way, he's dead and I'm not too fond of him anyway. The reason it seemed open ended to you is because they couldn't very well show the blood and guts.

 

I dunno Im kinda done with the whole evil human organization... I would prefer if we focus on the beasts.

No thank you. The Autobots have other things to focus on in Season 3, and Cylas has been played to his extent.

 

Pretty sure Knockout has both him & Dreadwing locked away in his chamber or something for the sake of potential plot movement.

 

I want to see him return but not either of the two ways you suggested.

1. Megatron gave the order already and he already looks like an indecisive leader. I mean he decided to kill Starscream, then gives him a chance to return, and even though Starscream made no argument to allow him to return Megatron still let him back rather than killing him like he should have. He gave the order to leave Knock Out in a wall and then in the next episode lets him out. I'd hate to see Megatron go back on yet another of his own orders. And people think Optimus is indecisive.

2. This almost makes him sound like a good guy. I mean why would they let him back in the government after all the crimes against the Government he's committed?

I would like him to escape. With his government training it shouldn't be too hard for him to escape. Maybe they have an episode where they move him to the ground fortress and then he's able to get out where he couldn't when they were in the air. I think he should get the Nemesis Prime body back and use it to upgrade and repair damage to Breakdown's body.

People like Cylas? He did nothing but build up skirmishes resulting in a one-off bot and then loses to a wounded Bulkhead and Smokescreen and then has a lame satellite weapon and then disappears.

 

i liked him as a villain and the way he played the 'humans as a threat' and 'Icarus flying too close to the sun' thing. it was a fitting end for him, and there were no loose ends to wrap up. i dont think we will ever see him again. but hey, theres always re-runs!

 

Not sure why people think he is dead. Cybertronians can survive dissection apparently.

 

He's not a Cybertronian.

 

I would. But only if they could develop him into a powerful and significant threat. The last developments in Prime damaged his character.

 

I'd be satisfied if MECH returned with a new leader. The way I see it, there probably are some MECH soldiers still around, but it would annoy me if we never saw them again because they haven't been in the show that much since their introduction (three episodes in season 1, four episodes in season 2 and a brief appearance from some Agents in Crossfire).

 

I want MECH back into the picture more than Silas. I was done with him the moment he offed his own men.
