I love the Castlevania series, but this still confuses me. Is it strictly multiplayer? Do all players start at different places with different goals? I guess it's slightly disspointing that the first new, 2D Castlevania for consoles is using all old art from the DS games when they could have produced an amazing HD 2D Castlevania game.

It is just an XBLA game (and hopefully PSN in the near future). I don't really expect them to go all out on that.

And on that note, my interest is piqued, but until there's a PSN release, I can't really get excited for it.

I'm cautiously interested, but not as much as Limbo. I am so getting that game next week.

I get the vibe that this game is intended to test the waters, to see if PSN and XBLA are a viable destination for a possible new 2D Castlevania. Cobbling together a new game with existing assets is a pretty low-risk way of accomplishing that.

Some of those bosses move with all the articulation of those cutout creatures from Monty Python's Flying Circus bumpers.

While i'm pretty wary about it, and think it will just be mediocre, i'm still buying it day 1. I love me some Castlevania.

I LOVE Castlevania. If it's a new 2D Castlevania, I'm probably gonna get it day one.

Interesting, but the trailer makes me confused to as what the point of the game is. But it might be worth a bit, I did enjoy the Sorrow one for the DS

As long as they get Alucard right (Yeah, I'm looking at the bat and wolf form...they should have some purpose)

I really liked the bit where Shanoa attacked the Clock Tower beast from Dawn of Sorrow and the floor collapsed, that looked pretty epic in HD.

Only disappointing thing is oddly there doesn't seem to be any Belmonts playable. Johnathan is the closest thing.

Here's to hoping Richter is unlockable or something.

I'm surprised people are actualy excited for yet another of Igarashi's rehash games. an Xbox 360 game that uses DS assets. I don't get the appeal.

I'm a sucker for rehashes. You could constantly release "new" Megaman and Castlevania games that are basically the same thing but with new levels and I'll gladly buy each one day one and love the crap out of them. I actually kinda like reused sprites because I'm like "ooohh! I remember that guy from X game!" I'm a huge sucker for nostalgia. That explains the Transformers obsession. XD

Of course this is coming from the guy who thinks that Megaman might actually be better than sex so my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt. :lol
