I think Galvatron would have serious issues against Grimlock. Grimlock sold like he was Warf to the Fallen. So Fallen takes this one.
That is exactly what I’m saying. Galvatron loses in a melee fight to Rodimus, and while he is an Upgraded Prime, I do not think even at his best Rodimus can throw hands nearly as well as Grimlock. When Grimlock came face to face with the Fallen? The Fallen literally caught Grimlock’s sword and was like “bitch please”. Any version of the Fallen not from the movie? Drops G1 Galvatron.
The Fallen without breaking a sweat. Galvatron is an upgraded Megatron or even if his own character, I consider that he's about 1.5x more powerful from what Megatron was. I would say that Galvatron could take on a Combiner and probably would win, depending on which one (so one of the lesser ones). The Fallen is a totally different level that I'd estimate a good 5x above Galvatron at the least. My take is from taking his origin as one of the 13, and within my own cannon, he's one of the "forbidden" whose body was so radically enhance that even several of the other 13 had to work together to stop and imprison him. He's strong enough (physical strength, armour and fire power) to take on a combiner and several fighters and win. In my story, it was Black Arachnia's venom that infected his internal Energon engine, corrupting his system and breaking down his armour and shorting his motors, losing his strength, making him vulnerable and allowed the Autobots to defeat him (but he was still able to escape). But otherwise, he's nearly impossible to stop.
This one is probably true. while I said any not from the movies, I honestly can’t even remember The Fallen being anything of note in IDW. It’s been a long time and I thought he was lame compared to DW so I forgot most of the stuff about him.
He wasn't anything of note in IDW, he was just a dupe for Shockwave like every other member of the Thirteen in that continuity.
When powered up by Unicron, Galvatron. Post-Unicron, The Fallen. BTW, I think this is why Rodimus had an easy time with Galvatron in the movie. Unicron was dying and whatever Starscream-disintegrating power Galvatron was receiving from him was fading. At this point, he was basically just Megatron in another body versus a temporarily Matrix-juiced Prime.

Pretty interesting match-up: two of Unicron's most powerful heralds engaging in combat. Looking at their stats... The Fallen Galvatron While The Fallen's insanely powerful.... Galvatron, especially if we're talking about Marvel Galvatron... I genuinely feel like he'd be too insane / angry to put down, even for someone as ancient and powerful as one of the 13. I figure technology-wise Galvatron would have a leg up since he was given a super advanced body by Unicron while The Fallen is a much older / out of date model.
I'd say Dreamwave's Fallen would be able to beat the Sunbow, IDW, and Bayverse Galvatrons, and maybe also Marvel's incarnation of him, but IDW Megatronus would definitely lose to all three of them As for the Bayverse version... he couldn't handle Optimus Prime, so he's got no chance against Sunbow, IDW, or Marvel's Galvatrons, but he can definitely beat his own universe's incarnation. Idk about BWII Galvatron (haven't seen the show past the episode where he gets revived)
Depends on which fallen and which Galvatron, Marvel G1 Galvatron would probably win against the IDW fallen, he basically survived everything, he'd just keep coming back crazier until the Fallen was beaten. But Cartoon Galvatron, would probably get his head stuck in a bucket while RotF Fallen neged him to death.
