Since the Power of the Primes vote (Round One) just came put today, I just want to see who everyone voted for.

Here's who I voted for:

Honor: Ultra Magnus
I voted for him because, he's Prime's second in command in most TF universes and continuities.

Chaos: Thunderwing
I voted for him because it said that he has some connection with the Matrix according to his bio and he wants to use to take over Cybertron. I'm curious to see how that well turn out (Also why the hell is Optimus Primal in the "Chaos" section)

Order: Star Saber
I voted for him, because he sounds like an honorable and wise leader according to the bio. Kinda like Optimus Prime. And I want a fucking Star Saber toy in my collection

I voted Hound, because he's such an out-of-left field character and it would be awesome to see more of him.

Thunderwing, because it was more interesting than the way Deathsaurus was being described as a "ruthless dictator", and because Primal does not belong in the Chaos category whatsoever.

And Shockwave, because making Star Saber a Prime stops him from being one of the few Autobot leaders that ISN'T a Prime, and because Megatron being a Prime is just eh.

I'm with you on that one, but at this point I'm down with Star Saber getting the title if it means we can get a Generations style toy made.

 

I only wanted to vote for Hound so he was a no brainer. He is my favorite character out of all this available to chose from.

But since I had to have two more I voted for...
Optimus Primal & Star Saber. I mean yeah Thunderwing had the matrix on the G1 comics but come on, Megatron? Shockwave? Deathsaurus? WTF?

So yeah I went full on Autobot since if anyone is going to be a Prime it has to be an Autobot or a Maximal now I guess. Thinking on it now it would be kind of cool to have a CHUG Optimus Primal now to go with Rattrap & Rhinox on my CHUG shelf.

Chaos: Optimus Primal: I find it funny that he´s called an warlord. Also he sounds like the only safe option here.

I voted Magnus, Primal and Shockwave. The only reason I voted Magnus is because of the three he's the only one I care even the least about. The "Honor" category is kind of a wash for me. Maybe I'll pick Hound tomorrow.

I voted Primal because I'm curious about that "warlord" direction.

I voted Star Saber because I want a Leader Class toy and to see the IDW world go to shit.

 

Yeah. If Star Saber gets his way, Cybertron is going to begin to look a lot more like the Imperium of Man.

My votes went to;

Honor- Ultra Magnus
Only choice that made sense to me. Hound and Acree just didn't seem like Prime material to me. Hound hasn't been main character material throughout the IDW run, and Acree just didn't seem like a leader type to me.

Chaos- Thunderwing
As we IDW fans all know, Thunderwing played a pivotal role in the war. He was the one who made Cybertron uninhabitable, or attributed to it. And then he was written off cheaply, off panel, in Revelation. I see this as a perfect opportunity to bring him back, and give us an explanation for his disappearance. Plus, his classic character has an affinity to the Matrix. A perfect fit.   As for the others, Unknown Evil who's presumably Deathasaurus, just didn't seem right, given how he was portrayed in MTMTE. And Optimus Primal, while an IDW incarnation would be great. His characterization seems a bit odd. But, I won't object if he wins.

Order- Star Saber
Like Thunderwing, he hasn't been seen in awhile. And this would bring him back into the picture. Megatron doesn't need to be a Prime, and Shockwave got a perfect send off in Dark Cybertron, no need to undo that.

 

Honor - Arcee. I loved her character in Prime, and I'm really enjoying how she's developed from a stereotypical psychopath into a really cool warrior and battlefield commander in the current comics.

Chaos - Optimus Primal. It sounds like he would make for a good, or at least, well-intentioned chaotic character, and I'd love to see that idea elaborated on. Especially if it means we get a new Optimus Primal toy.

Order - I was torn, but I impulse voted Star Saber. In hindsight, I'd rather see Shockwave show up, and see how his character acts after having overcome his shadowplay and dying. Also, y'know, I might be holding onto the slim hope that if Shockwave's still alive, so might Bumblebee... but that's just wishful thinking on my part.
