I was wondering if anyone knew how Everyone got to earth in each film? Autobots: 07:Came individually in protoform mode. No known ship- 5 autobots ROTF: responded to Optimus' invite I assume via the Xaantium. 7 additional(3 Arcee, skids, mudflap, sideswipe, jolt) Dotm: as above, hung out with humans during ROTF. (5 additional. 3 wreckers, wheeljack, mirage/dino) AOE: where I am hazier on things, headcanon tells me drift was a former con from Chicago battle and as such was on the ark? Maybe. What about Hound and Crosshairs? Deceptions: 07: presumably similar to the autobot situation possible ship on Mars per comics? EXCLUDES Megatron.- 7 deceptions ROTF: Presumably aboard the nemesis. Many additional unnamed plus Soundwave and the Fallen DOTM: Was the Ark full of Decepticons plus Sentinel? many additional unnamed troopers plus Shockwave. AOE: All human built and Galvatron programmed. Plus Lockdown. Anything I have gotten wrong I would appreciate correction on and parts that I am missing. Namely Shockwave, the dotm cons, and AOE autobots.
If I remember correctly shockwave suffered the same fate of being frozen much like megatron did when he crashed on earth. Shockwave however was captured by soviet Russia and kept frozen until Megatron freed him before the events of DOTM. The DOTM cons it seems were hiding in the moon waiting for Megatrons orders, then they transported via the portals. However I don't think it's been made clear how long they were hiding up there. As for the AOE autobots I'm still wondering that myself. The movies themselves never really make it very clear how some of the transformers arrive, that's where the comics come in but unfortunately they're not necessarily considered part of the continuity it seems.
Maybe the most frustrating thing about these movies for me. The Autobot arrival in TF1 is widely acknowledged as one of the best scenes in the franchise. Why have we never seen another arrival scene (Autobots)? I would love to see a scene where the new bots arrive and are welcomed by those already here, they pick out their alt-mode, etc.
