    I want to purchase him, but I don't want the dreaded plug and I've never ordered from anyone but Joel at BBTS. Any suggestions?

    I'll wait till I see if the plug can be removed or not, then it wont matter to me. If TFSource gets it without plug (they're huge on MP figures and MISB figures) I'll get it there.

    Keeping this in mind though, report was the toy would be packaged in robot mode, if this is true then there's going to be no need for the plug and it wont matter where you order it.

    I've got mine preordered from bbts. it'll go into my pile of loot till I'm ready for it, and if I hear that he's ended up being butchered, I'll just cancel the order and get him someplace else. simple as that.

    I was thinking the same thing but after looking at those pics that just came out he looks freakin awesome and plug or no plug Megs is killer!

    I was just over at BBTS and reading up on Megs. They get these from overseas, right? So are the modifications being done there, or in the US once they get them? If the later, then how are they getting them through? And couldn't any of use just do the same and get an unaltered figure and "take out chances?" From what I know of the postal service, they could care less about internal shipments. The hassle seems to be getting them past customs and if BBTS has managed that we should be free and clear, right (especially if he ships in robot mode).

    Also, I notice that BBTS says they don't charge your card till they ship. I know Corner Store comics and Entertainment Earth don't, but ever since I pre-ordered ML13 from TRU (who instantly charge, or "put a hold" on, your card) I'm a little leery. So, with TRU you better basucally have the fundage to back the order as soon as you place it. The holidays have wiped me out, but I want my name in the pot for Megs. Are they a CCS or a TRU?

    Nowhere for the time being. After he comes out and we have a clearer picture of the plug situation, I'll make a decision then.

    Sometimes preorders are critical for limited-edition stuff, but it's not like Megs is going to be produced in small numbers and therefore be difficult to track down. Patience will net the best price for mass-release items.

    I ordered one each from BBTS and TFSource.

    BBTS b/c they are the most reliable and the fastest shippers.
    TFSource b/c they may not put in a plug, they are slightly cheaper and I was able to get their WST Stocking Stuffer by pre-ordering (hope the ex-girlfriend likes him for Christmas).

    I figure that I can see how they turn out and sell the one from BBTS if the TFSource one is clean. Either way, I want this in my hand asap.
