If I had to choose I'd say Optimus, but I still really don't like it much except for the awesome head sculpt. Bumblebee is just flat out boring. Honestly I'd recommend saving your money but that's definitely just me.

Primes transformation is awesome as is Bumblebee's
I want to say Prime but Bee is very cool also.

Soundwave looks the best out of the bunch so I say wait, and who knows, they might reveal Starscream and Ratchet along with repaints and you might like those even more than the currently known ones.

Drift is better than either, but I'd give the nod to Bumblebee...

Both. And then get Megs AND Soundwave when they come out too. The whole WFC line looks/is pure win!

I think Prime is the better toy, but seems to lack some polish/detail that Bee has, who "looks" better to me. Also there is something about a deluxe Prime that bother's me a bit. They are both good toys though.

This is how I break it down:
    Similarities:
*BB and Prime both look nice (and that's more an opinion choice on your part anyways)
    *Both have complex transformations
    *Both have pretty good articulation
*Both sacrifice having kibble/backpack for vehicle mode

    Differences:
*Prime's transformation is cleaner and doesn't feel awkward or like you are pressing a piece in a way that you think might break it.
*I haven't had any quality issues with all five Primes I've have/had/or my mother or brother have, but the one BB I have both legs tend to pop out of the swivel thigh joint, which can be annoying.
*Prime has posable feet and double jointed knees (you need to push the wheels to the side, but it works and still looks nice) while BB has a limited hip swivel and double jointed elbows (due to transformation)
*Some Primes (I've read) have the tendency to rub paint off their faces in vehicle mode when they have been rolled on uneven stuff.
*BB has a cavity in robot mode below the arms, but it isn't really noticeable unless you are looking for it.
*Some Prime's ab plate/grill detach from the tab (but just like loose joints a tiny tiny tiny amount of super glue fixes this)
*The light piping in BB's eyes doesn't work (due to the paint)

I'd pick Prime (and or maybe wait for reviews of Megatron cause I think he's gonna take that huge energon cake), but that's my opinion. I hope this helps.

I got them both, transformed them both into their vehicle mode, and they have sat there ever since. Maybe I will change my mind when we get more characters, but I would say neither. I never leave my bots in vehicle mode, but there is something about these that has made them uninteresting to me. May be that we only have two characters thus far, or that I don't play the game, but there just doesn't seem to be anything special to either of them.

I'd say get both, I think they really are worth it along with Soundwave and Megatron. But putting one over the other... Prime.

they are both nice, but bee can be frustrating to transform, plus bee in robot mode reminds me of tweetle dee or dum, just kinda fat and lumpy. prime is much better if you remove is back kibble, which will still snap into place when you transform him.

I got em both. And have transformed them both from bt to alt mode. And I don't really seem to have a preference between the two. So neither. But I'm looking foward to Soundwave.

The poll doesn't have the option I'd pick..."I like them both." I got them both because knowing my luck I will never see Generations figures on the pegs ever again, and even though I wasn't a fan of BB, I warmed up to him. I love both figs...and I can see that Hasbro tried to mimic the transformations in the game on these toys...at least on Optimus. The way the chest piece turns, and the back kibble turns gives it the effect like his torso is turning 180 degrees like in the game.

If you can only get one, go with Prime. But if you can get both, do it. They're both great figures.

    I don't know. I have them both.

I feel like prime is the better design, but BB is the better executed, more detailed toy.

If you like the BB design, it's a much better than average execution for a Hasbro toy (especially a deluxe). But for me the design its self is a little underwhelming.

It does bug me that BB is pretty much bigger than prime.

    Don't know if that helped.

I just got my WFC figs today, sad to say both are kind of a let down. Prime should have been a voyager class and both should have come with their in game weapons, Prime his game styled ion blaster and Bumblebee with the plasma cannon he had in the cut scenes.

I'm hoping Megatron, Soundwave and any others will be a lot better. Be nice if they stopped trying to tie these guys into the movieverse by making their transformations so complicated.

I don't think the complex transformations is any result of the movie. If anything, the transformations in the game, especially the decepticons, seem to defy physics in a manner that not even the movie designs really do to a high degree. I dunno, for me I felt that I could tell what part of a robot went where on the alt move from the movie, but it is MUCH harder to do that with man of the WfC toys. Sideswipe anyone? How do the tires get up there? Barricade? Breakdown? Howabout any of the flying character?

Personally...I would expect a high level of complexity coming from their own homeworld. Here, they are not bound by physical "rules" of things we know and are comfortable with on earth. I understand that simplicity is appreciated, and I agree that simplicity is a good thing...but I like the WfC stuff the way they are. I like how Hasbro seems like they want to capture a feel of the character transformations from the game in these toys, at least on Prime.
