For larger size. Voyager Class size or Leader if there is a Leader version. I know there's Leader or Voyager class large size for Ironhide though
Voyager is small, but it's still a top-notch figure. If you reeeeeally want a Leader, wait until NYCC and see if one is revealed (I doubt it, though).
Yeah Voyager Class size Shockwave is cool since he's all purple. Still cant believe Ironhide for Leader class is freakin huge.
I would recommend waiting to see how the Leader turns out. If you don't like it, then it shouldn't be too hard to track-down a Voyager Shocky. Really depends on how important scale is for you, and what the size classes of your other movie bots and cons are.
Could we stay on topic ladies and gentlemen? I would pick voyager but the purple ruined it for me and Cyberverse isn't for everyone so I don't know what to pick to be honest.
The Voyager is a really, really awesome figure and is worth picking up for sure! Walmart has him for $15 right now, and if you're able to find any of those $5 off coupons then you can get him for the price of a Deluxe. Totally worth it. Now an upcoming Leader class figure would probably make it look really simple in comparison, as hasbro's been producing some really good movie Leader figures since Leader Starscream, with Ironhide and Sentinel Prime. And I think Shockwave's design will translate well for a Leader class. So it will probably be an incredible figure when it comes out. But that won't be until into next year.. I'd say get the Voyager if you like the character, and it's a really great figure to pose with Voyagers Prime and Sentinel, etc If you're issue is really size as in you like to go big, then Voyager Shockwave is pretty puny compared to any of the other Leaders, so if you really want an in scale Shocky then the Leader would probably be for you, as Shockwave is one of the bigger guys in the movie.
Well I kind of want to get Voyager class size Shockwave so he can tower over the regular smaller Mech Tech figures of the Twins, and Bumblee and Optimus. Shockwave in my weird creative idea is that Shockwave was the biggest one on Cybertron. LOL
With NYCC coming up I'd wait until after those reveals to make a decision. Currently most Shockwaves are packaged with sub-par extras. If you don't want a Optimus redeco you'll have to get the regular, red-violet Shockwave (or get it loose online). He's a great Voyager figure, though, amazing light piping. Again, NYCC is right around the corner. Wait to see what that brings.
The Voyager Shockwave's a darn good figure. Also, there's a few mods listed in the Radicons section for improving his articulation, making him even better.
I actually went with the gunmetal Chugway. Purple on Shockwave is always nice, but he's always been Purple or Gray depending on where you buy him!
There's no Leader Shockwave - though we've been told we might see some new DotM toys at the weekend. If a Leader existed, he'd be a better scale phyiscally compared to the others, in his absense, the Voyager does an admirable job.
