So I finally broke down and got into Sigma 6 toys. I started out with the Ninja 2 pack. At the same time I got Kamakura. Then within a week I got Duke. Last night I picked up Long Range, and I have a Heavy Duty on the way. My question is, who should I get next? Also, does anyone know of any sites that have good picture reviews of the figures?

I really like Kamakura for some reason... Spirit's bow KICKS ASS... Tunnel Rat's fun... I'm still wondering if I should get Sea Ops Duke, Ninja BAT, and the Ninja Showdown Set...

I definitely want to get Cobra Commander and Long Range though...

Long Rangs does kick ass. His rifle is really cool. I also saw Cobra Commander and Ninja Armor Snake Eyes, but I could only afford to get one. Since you have the original versions of SS and SE, I would pass on the Showdown Set. I only got them to save $10. The only thing keeping me away from Tunnel Rat is that I really can't stand him on the show.

Maybe you are just a bit there CC. When I saw the figure up close, it was nice, but I wasn't 100% sold on it though.

I would get cobra commander. I saw it up close and liked it but I had other things to buy and put it down. He will be my first sigma six purchase when I get him. The first snakeeyes is pretty cool also, but I still prefer my early eighties toys of the characters.

I got SS and his bike and I've decided to start buying other S6 figs. Spirit, Heavy Duty, Kamakura, Long Range, Heavy Armor SS, BAT, Duke, and Tunnel Rat would be my next purchases. Not really sold on CC yet.

Today at my local TRU I scored a Cobra Commander. They also had a Longrange, which I passed on...for now.

I never in the more 20 year lifespan of collecting action figures have I purchased any GI Joe figures. Last week, I broke down too and set Cobra Commander, Ninja Armor Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow on layaway. Those Sigma6 figures are the best from any GI Joe line. I may pick up Duke and Kamakura later this week.

In case anyone is interested, on Hasbro's website, they have episodes 1-7 of Sigma 6. Plus they have the entire movie of Valor Versus Venom. Which seems to tie into S6.

Hmmm I am still on the edge with these figures. I like Duke he looks good Cobra Commander is okay I dont like the Red Cape it should be red on the inside and dark blue on the outside with a red Cobra symbol in the center. Snakeyes who has always been my favorite character looks a little odd. He dosent look human but more like a Robot. If I were to get any of them it would be Duke and Spirit. But I as usual would have to collect the whole collection and I dont like them all so I wont start.

I haven't bought a Joe figure since like '92 or '93. However, Sigma Six has rekindled my interest. So far the Ninja BAT is the weakest of the line. You should definitely get the original Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow figures. I just got the two pack and while they rock, they're not "classic" like their Wave 1 counterparts. Also, buy Tunnel Rat! I know what he's like on the show, and I can't stand him either. However, I've loved the character/figure ever since the original Joe movie. And that's how I think of this character. Not as the goofball who only thinks of food(when did Shaggy join GIJoe?), but as the infiltration expert. I do pair him up with HD, though, and seeing as you have HD, you gotta get his little buddy. It's like having Crumplezone and not getting Ransack.

    Eventually, get 'em all.

As for which to get next...

Cobra Commander, Tunnel Rat, and Spirit are all sweet, but I believe they will all be re-released with the next wave (3 Commando, 2 Soldier). Armor Snake Eyes will also be hauled over, so I think you'll have plenty of opportunities to pick those toys up.

What's left? Commando Snake Eyes, Commando Storm Shadow, SCUBA Duke. SE and SS kick all kinds of ass over their Ninja Battles counterparts, and SCUBA Duke, while quite nice, is the least vesatile of the toys (for obvious reasons).

    So I guess it's priorities:

If you want a new character, go with Cobra Commander or Tunnel Rat.

If you want to get one of the figures that's likely to disappear first, and don't mind having duplicates, go with the original Snake Eyes or Storm Shadow.

And I HIGHLY recommend reading the reviews and looking at the Tech-Spec pics on Sigma 6 Central (at JoeBattlelines). Great write ups for all of them (though I think he underrates Armored Snake Eyes).

I'd get the BAT. He's got a cool removeable chest plate. Holes on the back for putting weapons and his string gimmick in his arm works pretty good. Plus he's a robot with Joe Articulation. Gotta love that.

That Kamakura is pretty cool. Resembles MK Scorpion as someone has already mentioned before

Must get CC too. Can't wait to find him on the shelves
