which side has smarter,stronger,bigger and cooler characters. autobots or decepticons​

I choose decepticons because i like them more and barricade is my favorite.

 

Classically, the Decepticons are more cunning and ruthless and have less regard for rules. That may classify them as stronger?

 

NORMALLY THESE KINDS OF THREADS ONLY POP UP IN SLOW NEWS CYCLES, I'M AT A LOSS FOR WHY WE'RE GETTING THEM NOW...


And Cons seem stronger as the Bots are always sort of bouncing back from utter defeat it seems.

Decepticons are stronger and I like them better,one of the reasons they lost is because they kill each other more than they kill autobots because most Decepticons are selfish and treacherous

 

Decepticons, on average, tend to be larger and stronger than the Autobots. The most extreme example of this is in Animated, but it applies to most other continuities as well. The Autobots do tend to be smarter than the Decepticons on average, however. According to the G1 tech specs, for example, the only characters with a "1" or "2" in intelligence were Decepticons (Scavenger, Brawl, Blot, Slugfest, and Abominus, with the last being the "1".)
As for which side has better characters? That's probably subjective. I like the two sides about equally, but my two favorite characters, Soundwave and Shockwave, are both Decepticons. (My username is actually based on an old post from this site that said an amalgam character of Shockwave and Soundwave should be called Longitudinalwave. I couldn't decide which one to pick, so I used that idea to pick both of them for the username.)

 

Like most others have said I’d say the Cons are overall stronger than the bots but the bots usually have higher numbers and are able to use those numbers for team attacks and helping each other while most cons seem to compete with their teammates.

 

Going with Decepticons as well.

Individually they tend to be stronger on average. But in most continuities we have the story line of the Decepticons slowly winning the war (the Autobots score some battle victories, but are losing the war in general), until something special happens and the Autobots win afterall.

Funny how everyone picked the Decepticons considerlng that they always lose.

 

Because the good guys always win it’s always been like this and it’s kinda boring Decepticons should win for once

 

Well Decepticons are stronger by brutal force, but technically the Autobots are ten times stronger by having a task force, the ancient relic, the Guardian robot, and everybody's favorite dinosaur robots.

 

Decepticons have phase sixers,djd,have better weapons,have more ships and air superiority,autobots only win on earth,how many planets have the Decepticons conquered?

 

Smarter - Autobots. They seem more efficient and adept at combat, considering they're much smaller in size and numbers than the Decepticons yet haven't died or are anywhere near defeat.

Stronger - Decepticons. The Autobot leader is a bloody basic red Earth truck, the average Decepticon is either a fighter jet, a tank, or an alien war machine.

Bigger - Decepticons again. Tanks are bigger than cars. Though I can also argue Autobots win since Jetfire is bigger than Barricade. I'll just take a rough shot in the dark at which of the two has more bigger characters than the other.

Cooler - Equal. IMO, of course. Maybe Decepticons are a little cooler, but Autobots are still cool... most of them, at least.

Autobots V Decepticons - 2 V 3. Decepticons win for me.

 

I'd say the Decepticons in just sure brutally and physical strength would easily overpower the Autobots, plenty of Decepticons could probably take a large group of them alone like Overlord, Thunderwing, Galvatron, etc. In fact you could say that Decepticon leadership is all based on whose the strongest as everyone is trying to overthrow everyone else. But the Autobots would win just in sure numbers or could at least be able to drive the Decepticons back with shear firepower. As they seem to have teamwork and trust in each other better then the Decepticons with some exceptions (Mirage & Cliffjumper for example). Plus the Autobots do have heavy hitters on their side to even the fight like the Dinobots & Omega Supreme.
The Autobots though are clearly a lot smarter then the Decepticons, a lot of the Decepticons could be seen as mere disposable goons. As someone else said even if you look at tech specs a lot of Decepticons have pretty low intelligence compared to the Autobots. Plus the Autobots are a lot more organized in terms of strategic fighting.

IMO I prefer the Decepticons, two of my top three favorite Transformers are Decepticons (Starscream & Soundwave) as they look a lot cooler and look a lot more powerful. But I do say I think the Autobots have a lot more choices in terms of being recognizable when looking at the brand as a whole, I'm more likely to come up with twenty or more Autobots off the top of my head compared to the Decepticons. But I think that also comes down to Hasbro putting out more Autobot characters then Decepticon characters.

 

On average Decepticons are bigger and stronger than Autobots, but by large most heavyweights have a counter-part on the other side in terms of commanders, combiners and titans.

 

I agree with most of these THE DECEPTICONS ARE WAAAAY BETTER!

 

Autobots, brah. Not just because of their numbers, but because of the potential to excell at their given roles.

 

Almost a dozen continuities at current and you pick the two things that ONLY apply to IDW 1.0, one of which is the biggest stupidest Mary Sue force in the multiverse.

 

I've viewed Decepticons as the stronger side.

In G1 the Autobots have larger numbers, while the Decepticons are more effective fighters. In later years the Decepticons are shown to have a army, and overwhelming the Autobots.
