I am trying to cut back on my TF spending but the new deluxes from the movie line look really sweet. I want to limit myself to just two so which ones do you think I should get?

Landmine
Stockade
Dropkick
Arcee
Payload
Dreadwing


Or should I just get Incinerator?  

 

Incinerator IS tempting, but no personal experience with him.

Landmine is clearly becoming a must among collectors. I'm not a Stockade fan at all, but I would give the nod to Arcee or Dropkick (or, wait for Salvage). Payload and Dreadwing may be liked by some, but they're out of their league in comparison to the others.

 

I'd get Dropkick and Landmine if you can only get two.

 

Out of that list I'd say Dropkick is the #1 must buy.

Landmine is cool, but with all the rave on him I think he very quickly got very overrated. A result of too few new molds being released perhaps? His alt mode looks nice but his bot mode is rather drab/uninspired and the transformation is only decent. Some people are saying he is better than CC BB but if you consider the full range of elements I say 'no way' to that and think that's more a matter of being excited with what is new and unexcited with what is older (and frustrated at for those who had to go to all ends to get cc bb).

Oh, and Payload is terrible, stay away from him if you're not trying to be complesionist. Arcee is also not that great imo. I like Dreadwing but many don't (I repainted him into a sweet looking Skywarp). So Landmine would still be my #2 on that list. Don't have Stockade or Incinerator yet as they're not out in Canada quite yet but I worry I won't be the hugest Incinerator fan for similar reasons to my not liking Blackout much.

 

Get Arcee especially if your thinking about getting MA-20 Blackarcee.

 

Stockade and Arcee.

 

So, any of you own Stockade and Dropkick? If so which one's better? I think I'll get Landmine for sure because I love the alt mode but still undecided about the 2nd one. And Incinerator is a must buy if the review's positive.

 

Landmine and Stockade, in that order. Meh to the rest.

 

I own both and Stockade wins by a long shot, he is a very clean looking movie figure in both modes. His transformation is easy yet it is at the same time satisfying. Dropkick has the Deluxe Brawl shoulder problem.

 

Payload, Dreadwing, are absolutely NOT good choice.
Now leaving with Landmine , Arcee as autobot, Stockade and Dropkick as Decepticon.
All these four have their pro and con..
Landmine has the best articulation, good for pose, but its head is the ugliest.
Arcee looks good in bike mode; (although people already compared animated prowl with it) Robot mode is average, ok.
Dropkick has pretty unique transformation.. it is fun to have a pickup.
Stockade looks alright with robot mode; some people don't like its large arms but the arms are the gadgets..

It is a tough call... but 2 of these Landmine, Dropkick, Stockade are my picks.

 

Its a Tough call...
if you like SUV / Station wagon, get Stockade.
if you like pickup, sporty pickup , get Dropkick.

 

I would recommend landmine and Dropkick. Those are the two best deluxe so far on your list.

now i have to say i have landmine and like him but better than ccBB no way is the exact phrase that came to mind. on topic landmine is great very posable transformation is easy but extranious pieces flying around begs for superglue stupid taillights but of those i would reccomend landmine. but im not on a stop spending on tfs thing atm so im not really one to say where your Transbuck goes but i like landmine alot

 

Landmine - I don't have him, but all reviews I've seen so far seem to be glowing with praise.

Stockade - Looks a bit kibbly... not sure if I can recommend him.

Dropkick - He's great!

Arcee - Her head sculpt is a big turnoff for me, so I decided not to buy her

Payload - Aside from the huge pole sticking out of his back, he is a pretty neat toy with a unique transformation.

Dreadwing - Awful.

In conclusion: Landmine and Dropkick.

I don't have Stockade, so I can't comment on him... I really want Landmine... sounds like he's got some awesome articulation.

Dropkick is awesomesauce.

 

I've owned Dropkick, Arcee, Payload, and Dreadwing. Dreadwing was the only one I kept after selling most of my collection.

Although I say pick any one up minus Payload, that piece of shit practically fell apart in my hands.

 

Out of the deluxes listed, I would definitely go with Dropkick and Landmine.

Having both of those AND Incinerator, I would suggest getting Incinerator.

Payload and Dreadwing are probably the two worst figures in the entire movie line. Absolutely horrible.
