I just wondered what fans think and opened this thread

Note: I know Hasbro stated that WFC and Exodus are in same continuity, but there are many differences between WFC/FoC and Transformers: Exodus, so I excluded Exodus from WFC/FoC

Note 2: I counted WFC/FoC and Dinobots comics the same because comics used plot/story from the games
(Example: How Grimlock escaped from Shockwave's experiments, Grimlock's revenge on Shockwave, Sludge being in statis lock in Sea of Rust etc.)
And I counted novels the same because they are a trilogy

 

The exodus novels

 

Are the Dinobots comics compatible with the novels?

 

There are a few common things between novels and Rage of the Dinobots.
1- Some Autobots remained on Cybertron under the command of Ultra Magnus, as explained in Transformers: Exodus novel
2- ''Optimus Prime and Megatron left'', as explained in Transformers: Exodus novel

 

I voted for the novels as well, because the WFC/FOC/Dinobots series uses a completely different design paradigm that would be better suited as their own continuity.

 

I wonder what was Hasbro thinking when said ''Exodus novel and WFC game are the same continuity''

 

Probably "We've got two different projects, but we want to push forward with our Aligned paradigm, so lets just say they're in the same continuity and don't sweat the small stuff." It's the same reason that Rescue Bots is considered part of the Aligned continuity, even if it ended up doing its own thing.
