I've seen people like Chris Stuckmann(Who i respect), and other reviewers say The Last Knight, was at least better than AOE. Was it? Because I'm kinda confused..I'm at least it's implied that Tessa and Shane broke up, so yeah that's good atleast.

Oh god no, AoE had far more redeemable qualities than TLK. The story, while still all over the place, was more coherent than TLK's. It also had a more relaxed pacing than TLK's pacing that tried to stuff like five movies into one, as opposed to AoE that felt like two movies being stuffed into one. TLK also had no fun with its action sequences, except maybe the last 10 minutes.
Also, while AoE still had a mcguffin, it didn't feel as if it was the driving force of the movie while TLK had like three of mcguffins all at its center. AoE also did a much better job at acting as a sequel to the previous films while still adding new ideas than how TLK miserably failed to do. It's also the only Transformers film that lacks military involvement.
AoE also had a stronger focus on the transformers themselves, especially Optimus. It challenged Optimus Prime as a character in a way no other version of him has, that I can recall, and pushed him to the edge. Could it have been handled better? Of course, but it's the most development any transformer has been given in these films and it was a welcome change of pace. It's definitely better than Optimus going evil for 5 seconds, and then spending the rest of his 10 seconds of screentime yelling "I am Optimus Prime!"
TLK has good concepts that were horridly executed. I know thats a problem with all 5 films, but this one did it worse than all others by a mile.

Age of Extinction. It had a smaller cast than TLK, and any of the sequels actually, so it didn't feel like it wasted most of its robot and human cast like TLK. The story was more solid than given credit.

That said, I have come to enjoy The Last Knight a little more, even if it's not a good sequel to the other movies, as a "Madman's Paradise" type of adventure. Perhaps they were even going for that Season 3 vibe where different episodes often felt very different from each other, which I find very enjoyable for a cartoon where each week there's a new episode or more, but perhaps it's not a good idea for a series of big budget movies, where individual movies are spaced a few years apart.

AOE, while perhaps bloated, feels like a coherant story. Saynig that, I do love the Arthur stuff from TLK. And Quintessa. But AOE gets my vote as better overall.

AoE by a country mile. While TLK has some redeemable concepts, it doesn't put them together in any meaningful way.

AoE still has all the bloat of the previous movies but there is at least a central coherent story for both the Autobots and main human characters. The smaller cast size of the Autobots who at least all have distinct designs and personalities helps.

Though I’ll give TLK this, no scene where we stop the movie to say how it’s legally ok in some places to bang a 17 year old.

It's like comparing The Last Jedi to Rise of Skywalker.

I'd argue AOE is better overall. It's certainly not perfect, but it has clear goals and it delivers on them. It's pretty coherent, albeit a bit clunky. A big problem with TLK is that it can't really decide what it wants to be. The first hour (which IMO is by far the most interesting part) has little to do the rest of the story. TLK has some really interesting ideas (and I think it gets more hate than it deserves), but overall it's a pretty sloppy movie.

If I had to choose, I'd pick AOE, in the same way I'd prefer a knife to the balls over a rusty knife to the balls.

It’s hard to say. I can’t stand either of them. Although, if a home intruder was shoving a gun down my throat and my life depended on me deciding which film was better then I’d say it was AOE. They’re both pretty atrocious, though.

I actually find that a much harder one to judge. For very different reasons, I can't decide which is better.

Age of Extinction. Because somewhere underneath it's a good TF movie. Definitely not perfect for sure, but if they edited out those gags like the Romeo and Juliet law flash, "like a tactical nuke" text, house eviction lady scene, ect it would be a pretty decent movie I'd say. But unfortunately, they didn't trim out the fat enough to where you have these serious scenes paired along with these silly goofy scenes combined with blatant product placement. TLK is just a bunch of unfinished ideas tossed into one movie.

I feel like doing all that, and seperating it into a mini-series would have worked better in its favor.

AOE has better story and better character work, while the last Knight has way more energy to it, and it's a lot more fun. That being said, neither are good. They're about tied in their level of mediocrity.

AoE's actually higher up on my list of favourite TF movies than ROTF. Lockdown was cool and I enjoyed the premise of man-made KSI Bots and Autobots being hunted. Sadly with the Romeo and Juliet scene, in addition to that awful Bud Light "product placement" (read: commercial) we need to hate more, in the long run AOE isn't really any better than TLK. I'd still go with AOE, because technically it doesn't give me as much of a headache to watch as TLK and its 8 aspect ratios.

Aoe by a country mile aoe had
    lockdown,
    the action scenes were cool,
    the autobots were fun

but that’s it on the other hand tlk is one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life it has no redeeming qualities at
all the action scenes were boring
    the villain was barely there
    and the humor was atrocious
I nearly fell asleep during this movie so I give tlk an F
