Or the one that gives you the most trouble?, or the one you hate the most?, I'm, just curious.
Mine is Alternators Grimlock, man those arms are a pain, but love the figure, one of the few autobots that i really like.

MP Thundercracker has given me trouble a few times. Going from alt to bot is kinda tricky since it feels like each move is gonna break something. Overall I like it though.

Most of the Alternators figures can be pretty complicated. The one that gave me the most trouble recently would be Battle Ravage. Getting his legs out was a huge pain.

Some of the non-screen movie figures had serious issues too. Payload specifically is annoying. There are a few good ideas there, but mostly he's full of fail.

Movie Ironhide probably gave me the most trouble. But I've gotten pretty good at it.

Classics Hot Rod. Really, it's just the wheels on his legs- the ones that slide in and out. Those things are so damn stiff. I'm always afraid of breaking those while transforming him (probably why I've only done it a handful of times).

Other than that, Energon Starscream. When I first got it, I had no idea how to transform the damn thing. It was a jumbled mess in no time and I just sat there looking at it perplexed.

I should note that first thing I do out of the box is transform it, and no cheating (by "cheating," I mean instructions). Nothing like figuring it out the first time.

For moving the wheels on Classics Hot Rod I always use he little tab sticking that is part of the wheel post. Just get a good push on it with a fingernail instead of pulling on the wheel. Pulling on it makes me nervous too.

I'm the opposite when first opening a figure. I ALWAYS use the instructions first. I am afraid I'll try and crack open a figure's alt-mode the wrong way and break something.

All three Movie Leader class figures. Weirdly enough, the problem area for all three are in the legs. Prime and Brawl give me issues with aligning various panels, whereas with Megatron it's a bitch getting them angled right. These are all robot-to-vehicle problems. Vehicle-to-robot aren't as bad.

As for vehicle-to-robot conversions, Alt Skids is a PITA. No matter how many times I unsnap the chest from the 'spine' to try and get it straight, it never looks right.

Movie Ironhide was the biggest bitch for me too. I spent over an hour on that sucker. It looks nice, but damn I wish they would've packaged that thing in robot mode so I could've skipped the transformation. I haven't tried transforming the Leaders figures (Movie or Animated) and I don't have any Masterpieces I've had to transform (I have Starscream, but he came in robot mode too) so I can't comment on them yet. MP Thundercracker's forthcoming though, so I'll be holding my breath transforming him.

No. That's exactly what I do. The thing is just seriously stiff as hell. It will not budge, but when it does, and with the force I have to use to get it to- it scares the crap out of me every time.
That first transformation is all the fun for me. It's what Transformer toys are all about. My girlfriend's asked me a couple times if she could transform a toy that I had just bought, and honestly, I don't let her. Call me selfish, but that first transformation, that's like the bond between me and the toy. That's when it truly becomes meaningful to me.

I did however, let her transform Classics Cliffjumper when I'd recieved it. She happened to have actually been with me at the time I'd gotten one in the mail, and I've had Bumblebee since the line initially came out, so yeah. I let her transform him. Pretty much got it on the first try too.

Animated Starscream. Back to Jet mode. How was I supposed to know that the arms went BETWEEN the legs?

Movie Ironhide: Left him in alt mode for months, finally did it when I started to display them, dang waist connect.

Alt Wheeljack: The whle head and chest thing threw me for a loop. Looked at 40 mins of video on youtube till I found one that showed me what I needed. Grimlock was second so he wasn't as hard.

Masterpiece Starscream is a pain to transform. So's my Alternators Rodimus; main reason why I never bought more of them was because of that very reason.

My Hybrid Convoy can be a pain as well; those arms just never like to get into the cab.

MP Megatron. Very frustrating even if memorized by heart.

Alt Smokescreen the very first time I had him [almost 5 years ago], but then again my transforming experience consisted of Armada Sideswipe and Thrust.

Never had any problem with Grimlock or Wheeljack [BT versions] or Movie Ironhide. My only gripe was that the instructions showed you that the automorph feature kicked off by moving the heel and not the foot [WRONG].

Ultimate Bumblebee was and is a pain, especially when you think you got it all right only to find the electronics don't work because one friggin' panel isn't 2mm to the left. Ugh.

I find Leader Brawl to be a satisfying transformation. I like that figure a lot because if it.

Word. I spent 90 minutes transforming him the first (and only) time. That thing is made up of slots, tabs, and plates, and appears so frail that I'm afraid that looking at him funny will cause him to snap in half. :(

It's actually not too bad if you do it two or three times, but definitely not something you can figure out how to do on your own. I find it's a lot easier if you remove the shoulder pieces, machine guns, and missiles before doing it.
